Yuille Cottage is in the township of Buninyong, 11 km south of Ballarat.
We are walking distance to our local Hotel, or the many Cafes the town has to offer.
Close to the Supermarket, Chemist and Bakery, this cottage is in the perfect location.
Take in the many walks that the area has to offer or maybe some golf, tennis or bike riding; mountain biking or road cycling.
Buninyong has been home to the Australian Road Racing championships where you could take on the challenging 12 km circuit including the Mt Buninyong 'King of the Mountain'.
A 10-minute drive into Ballarat is a short distance to visit Sovereign Hill, Ballarat Wildlife park, Lake Wendouree and the many historic buildings and landscapes of Ballarat.

A welcoming cottage in the heart of Ballarat. Just minutes walk to the CBD with plenty of restaurants and shopping outlets, movies, bars, supermarkets, hospitals, train station, public transport and the historic architecture Ballarat has on offer. The cottage comfortably caters for six people but I can accommodate an extra two people with quality air beds and linen. The cottage is within a 10 minute walk to Lake Wendouree. There are plenty of family friendly activities within reach such as Kryal Castle, The Eureka Stockade Museum swimming pools, sovereign hill, city library, skate park, parks and more.

Unwind in the cosiness of this cottage style home with all the mod cons such as central heating, air conditioning, spa, cooking facilities and wi-fi. I have just included electric blankets on all beds to add extra comfort for my guests in winter.

This property is suitable for pets
Do not allow pets on furniture or in bedrooms. Clean up after your animals before checkout otherwise a $50 fee will be charged. There is a pooper scooper for your convenience. Use the normal bin for waste.

Gas fire in lounge - look up and to the wall on the right. Flick large switch to turn fire on and up to turn off. Ensure fan is on. The fan switch is the smaller switch located next to the big switch to the right of the unit facing the window.

Please, nothing but toilet paper should go in the toilet. There’s a little rubbish bin for everything else. Please DO NOT stand on the toilet seat, we sit on the toilet seat.

Bin location: In the shared drive just outside the back gate.
General Waste (red lid or small green bin) - collected weekly
Recycling (yellow lid) - please do not put glass or soft plastics in the bin (use general waste bin)
Green waste (bright green lid) - please do not put food scraps or pet waste in the bin (use general waste)

Unless we send message and request, a Flairbnb team member will take the rubbish bins to the kerb for collection and put away again. Please make sure they have access to the bins from the afternoon prior to the bin collection day.

Checkout information
Strictly 10am. Due to cleaning scheduling we cannot accommodate late check outs. Please leave the key to the property back in the lockbox.

Two split systems make your stay comfortable no matter the weather. The kitchen has been fitted out to perfection and is fully equipped for your every need.

The newly renovated bathroom has a separate luxe shower and bath.

The space -
We have kept as many of the original features in our cottage as possible to keep her a little bit quirky. She has beautiful soul with the interior being softly coloured, cute and comfortable.

We provide guests with a selection of teas, milk and coffee.

There are 2 internal fireplaces, the one in the kitchen is functional but please note the lounge room fireplace is currently not in use. There is also an outdoor fire pit.

Upon Check-Out
Dishes: Wash and put away. Pretend you’re at home and your mum is watching.
Turn Off: All lights, heaters, and coolers. Help us save the planet.
Pet Cleanup: Don’t leave us any surprises.
Clean BBQ: If you used it, give it a scrub. We love a good BBQ, but not the cleanup.
Trash: Put it in the correct bins outside. Channel your inner recycling guru.
Linens: Don’t wash them. Seriously, we’ve got it covered.
If these rules are broken, we may have to cancel your stay with no refund. We really don’t want to do that.
