This cosy cottage is part of Blue Moon Cottages, three beautifully decorated cottages just 250 metres from the bayside beach at Rye on the Southern tip of the Mornington Peninsula .This weatherboard cottage is filled with character and is decorated with a relaxed beach style. It is comfortable and large enough to accommodate a small family or two couples. This is a pet friendly cottage with an outdoor courtyard which is fully fenced and pets are welcome inside.

The cosy lounge has a log fire as the centrepiece and incorporates a kitchen and diner with french doors that open onto a large deck with outdoor entertaining including bench dining, 2 Cape Cod Style Chairs and 2 Sunloungers and BBQ.

Sleeping:

The first bedroom has a Queen Bed and the second can be either a King or Twin Singles. The second bedroom also has an additional TV and DVD, so the kids can watch something while you enjoy the lounge without disturbance. Bedding Configuration options are:

As the name suggests, this cottage is on a picturesque tranquil street, central to everything: 9 minutes’ walk to the beach, just over 1km to White Cliff, 3 minutes’ drive to both the Blairgowrie Village and Rye shopping precinct and the Wittingslow Carnivals. Not to mention the many popular leisure venues including yacht / sailing clubs, golf courses, hot spring and national parks are all within easy reach.
The quiet street is much wider than usually found in the area, making it safer to walk along or for kids to play beside the street. Upon arrival you will find a large, fenced front garden well maintained dotted with cute decorations leading to a sunny outdoor deck – But don’t worry about too much sun in summer as part of the deck is under cover of a canopy and sunshade umbrella is available too.
Inside the house, you will find everything that you expect from a beach side cottage. 3 bedrooms sleeping 8, adequate for a family with grandparents, or two young families. There are fans in each bedroom. The living room is further looked after by a large reverse cycle air-conditioner. Internet and Smart TV help provide entertainment during the stay.
There is enough space for parking on-site and a spacious yard behind the house.

Due to local regulations, we can happily host you for up to 90 nights. Any bookings that exceed this duration will be cancelled by Vrbo.

We are pet-friendly - please add the number of pets you're travelling with and let us know about your furry friend at the time of booking. We’ll reach out to charge a standard pet fee of $50.
