We have recently finished the second part of our renovation and hope that you enjoy the changes to our bedrooms and bathroom.

Situated within a native garden setting, our cottage gives you easy access to the beautiful, child friendly north facing beaches of Cowes.
The Cottage features a small undercover entertaining area facing north. We supply a BBQ and outdoor table setting for your convenience.
Entering the house, you are stepping into the Kitchen/Dining Room and next to this the living room. Please note that there is a wood heater in this area (we do supply wood for your stay in winter)
When Phillip Island weather is not at its best, choose a DVD from our collection and watch a movie with every one, or find your special spot in the Cottage, put your feed up and read one of the many books we provide. Get together around the table and try to finish one of the many puzzles.

IMPORTANT, change to the supply of Linen for new bookings for 2025

For every booking we will provide bedlinen just for the king bed, as well as 1 towel per guest, 1 hand towel and 1 face washer, bathmat and tea towels.

For the other beds, the following will be provided for new bookings after January 1, 2025
Covered Doona's (Quilts), uncovered pillows, blankets for the queen bed and the single beds.

For the Queen and 2 Single beds, you are required to bring your own fitted and flat sheets; pillow covers and towels.

If you would like the optional linen for the queen and single beds included in your booking, please let us know at your earliest convenience, including which bed you would like it provided for. The additional cost will be a one-off charge of $30 per bed - and we would prefer a 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get the linen arranged.

DOGS:
Well behaved dogs are welcome, maximum 2 dogs. Don’t forget to pick up your dog’s poo. The property is fenced. But pls note that we do not guaranty that your dog cannot get out. If your dog digs or jumps, it might be able to escape. Absolutely no dogs on the furniture, especially on the beds. If your dog sheds a lot of hair, we kindly ask you to sweep/vacuum any excess as our cleaner will charge extra if more time is needed to clean additional hair of the floor. If they find hair on linen or blankets, we will incur an extra charge of up to $200 for the cleaning of bed linen.

With the beach, Cowes shops, cafés, football ground, golf course, gymnasium and tennis courts all within walking distance of this classic beach cottage, it will remind you of holidays of the past.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a strict NO PARTY policy. The house is located in a residential area and noise and public disturbances will not be tolerated. Guests will be asked to leave the premises without notice should noise or nuisance complaints be received or if the number of guests exceeds the number confirmed at time of booking.
STRICTLY NO SCHOOLIES OR GROUPS UNDER 25 YEARS OF AGE. (With the exception of children accompanied by parents).
All guest cars MUST be parked on the property. New Bass Coast By-Laws do not allow additional parking on the road.

This modern industrial style cottage is perfectly sized for couples & families searching for time to relax and unwind together. This cottage is full of character and is your home away from home with everything you need to relax and unwind. There are also 2 reverse split systems in the cottage to keep you as cool or as warm as you need.

The open plan living is spacious with a kitchen, lounge, dining and fire place downstairs. It has 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have there own staircase and are similar to a loft style or mezzanine floor. One bedroom is extremely large (with 2 king sized beds) and the other two bedrooms are compact.
The newly renovated bathroom is fresh and bright. It also includes a laundry with ample cupboard space, a washing machine, a dryer and a sink. It is sectioned off with sliding doors.
A small alfresco outdoor area is located at the rear of the cottage and includes:- decking area, BBQ, drinks fridge, outdoor couch setting, spa and sauna.

At the front entrance of the cottage is an outdoor dining area and chairs, along with a small firepit. Please note that there is a main house on the same property that accommodates a family. The cottage is separated from this with an open fence at the front and fully fenced at the back. The driveway entrance is the only part of the property that is shared.

Shells Beach House is fully self contained 3 bedroom cottage, with a fresh kitchen, gas hot plates, electric oven & a large fridge, there is a fully equipped bathroom with shower, bath & toilet. The large open lounge with adjoining dining leads out onto the fully enclosed deck through double french doors with timber outdoor setting & umbrella perfect for relaxing the day or evening with a cold drink.

We love our villa, so we ensure it is cleaned to current standards so we can all feel safe and comfortable. Our Villa is really pleasant at any time of the year. Great in hot weather, with 2 outdoor areas so when it's warm on the front deck, it's pleasant out the back. Lovely & cosy in winter, great heating, electric blankets, comfy couches, everything you want to warm up after exploring the Island.
The Villa is really well set up, so ideal for families wanting to stay for a week or more. 3 bedrooms with total of 5 beds, ideal for 3 generations. Kitchen, with electric oven and gas stove, lots of cooking utensils to get creative or just feed the family. Small amount of tea and coffee for when you arrive. Portacot & high chair supplied
There are a number of Outdoor BBQ's around the resort, we provide a picnic basket so you can easily enjoy a BBQ by the pool.

All bedrooms have ceiling fans, great in hot weather.

It's stunning water views are best appreciated from the large gazebo fully equipped with an outdoor TV & fireplace, pool table, speakers, dining table, couches & BBQ. The yard has play equipment, tree house and slide making it a perfect getaway for young families.

"Edgewater" features a quirky floor layout best suited to young families more than groups of friends due to privacy. So please check the floor plan and confirm this will work for you and your group. There are three interconnected bedrooms - meaning you walk through one bedroom to get to the next. The master bedroom can be separately accessed using external door. There are 5 beds, sleeping 7 people, furnished with comfortable bedding. The main bedroom has an ensuite shower and separate toilet. There is a fully equipped kitchen (renovated in 2018) and laundry. The laundry is co-located with a second shower and separate toilet which can be accessed directly from the deck, making it easy to shower the kids when coming back up off the beach; note however that this laundry/bathroom also acts as a thoroughfare from the bedrooms & house entrance to the living room, meaning that it is not particularly private. The open lounge/meals area features dining setting for six, a smart TV with internet connectivity, comfortable seating for your relaxation, and a reverse-cycle air conditioner for year-round comfort in the living room.
Outside there is an impressive, fully covered outdoor living area with BBQ, outdoor table setting for 6, lounge suite, pool table, wood fire, large TV (internet and free-to-air connected) and ceiling fans. There are surround sound speakers to play your favourite tunes via the Sonos App on your phone.
Take your meals in the gazebo and enjoy the sea breeze and fabulous water views on those beautiful Phillip Island summer afternoons and evenings. Or wind down the outdoor blinds & curl up in front of the fire with a wine during the cooler months.

Bedroom 1 [Master]: One king bed (access is via the interconnected 2nd bedroom, or via a separate door leading directly in from the deck area)
Bedroom 2: One set of single bunks (accessed via either the 1st or 3rd bedrooms)
Bedroom 3: One set of tri-bunks (single bed on top, double bed below… accessed via bedroom 2 or from the foyer entrance to the house)

Linen is provided and included in the cleaning fee.
Note: Due to CovidSafe cleaning regulations; only the beds required by guests will be made up. All linen is completely laundered between guests.

A car is a necessity to get around Cowes. We are about a 7min drive to the main street. Parking is generally no problem in town. Or if you feel enthusiastic, the walk to town is about 50 mins by road or an hour along the beach. I recommend the beach route!
