Charming Sandy Cottage is a lovely 3 bedroom traditional beach house providing the perfect accommodation for families or groups wanting a quiet escape from the city. Located in secluded Sandy Point, less than 200km from the CBD, the enviable position of this property makes it ideal for year-round getaways. Accessible to both Wilsons Promontory and South Gippsland the central location makes it an easy drive to Squeaky beach, Waratah bay, Inverloch and Port Franklin.

Picturesque Sandy Point beach is a pleasant 5 minute walk away, while Shallow Inlet, famous for its and wind surfing and fishing is a short 5 minute drive. Numerous recreation and relaxation facilities are within reach, such as golf courses, bush walks, fine restaurants, and of course the South Gippsland's popular wineries and art galleries.

Enjoy the convenience of shopping facilities in Foster, just 20 minutes away, with the luxury of being able to return to the peace and tranquility of Sandy Point. The nearby General store provides convenience within walking distance, avoiding the lengthy supermarket queues of January. Other nearby recreation facilities suitable for children and families include the mini golf on the Sandy Point foreshore, the Sandy Point surf lifesaving club, cafe, children's playground, tennis courts and the patrolled safety beaches.

Positioned on a spacious 1000 sqm block fringed with native trees, the house itself was renovated in 2017. The cottage features sunny light-filled living areas that open out onto a large outdoor deck where there is seating and a gas BBQ. The three bedrooms and bathroom can comfortably accommodate 6 people. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed, Bedroom 2 a trio bunk with a double bed below a single plus a king single bed, Bedroom 3 has a double bed. The living area includes a television, DVD and bluetooth speaker, wifi and there are games to keep everyone entertained well into the evening. The kitchen includes a dishwasher and coffee machine.
Longer stays are made easier with the washing machine facility. Guests need to bring their own towels and bed linen. Maximum of 2 dogs are welcome to stay. They can sleep in the living area at night but we ask that during the day they stay outside. The fencing around the property is adequately secure for dogs.

Sandy Cottage's idyllic location, ample facilities and proximity to the entire South Gippsland attractions make it the perfect base for a holiday any time of year. With activities to suit all types of weather and interests, you are certain to have a great time with everything on offer here. The space
Fall asleep at night listening to the ocean or soak in the spa after a day of walking and hiking at the magnificent Wilsons Promontory. Maybe wineries and art galleries are more your style or you feel like a swim, surfing lesson or a boat charter out to the islands off Wilsons Promontory. Book a helicopter or plane flight to view the coastline from the sky. Here at Driftwood Villas you will experience sparkling cleanliness (natural chemicals only) and a smiling host willing to assist you in any way possible. All linen along with tea, coffee and sugar sachets are provided free of charge. Toilet paper organic small shampoo, conditioner and soap amenities are also provided.

Guest access
You will have full access to the Villa during your stay. There is a large grassed area surrounding your Villa which enables unlimited parking space or a great family playing area. You also have access to a grassed 2 acre paddock if you so desire. You have your own BBQ, outdoor table and chairs and patio area attached to your Villa. Driftwood Villas Banksia offers peace and solitude creating the perfect base for exploring the natural beauty of South Gippsland. Wake up early to watch kangaroos grazing in our paddock or blissfully sit out on your deck sipping wine and watching the cows. Drive your car onto our Inlet Beach, ride the rail trail or head up and check out Agnes Falls.

Cottage 2 sleeps 5 guests in 2 bedrooms situated in a quiet area of the property.
Popular in winter as it has a woodfire (April-Nov, wood supplied) plus a spa bath in the wheelchair accessible bathroom. Full kitchen facilities, comfy leather sofas, dining table, heating, air conditioning, free wifi, BBQ and farm animals

Prom Coast Holiday Lodge consists of 5 self contained 1 & 2 bedroom cottages plus a Group Lodge situated on a picturesque 10 acre property with resort like facilities. Very quiet and peaceful location but only a short 5 minute drive to Waratah bay beach and 15 minutes to beautiful Wilsons Prom National Park.
Our facilities include a solar heated pool (closed May - Aug). basketball, volleyball, playground, trampoline, farm animals and spacious grounds to ride bikes, play cricket, kick a football or simply relax by the pool or on the deck.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to wander around the full 10 acres of landscaped gardens and bushland with creek at the rear of the property. Plenty of birdlife, kangaroos, koalas and resident farm animals. Facilities and grounds are shared with other cottages.
