This 2 bedroom beach house is comfortable and well-appointed. Although being one of six villa units, it sits privately at the front of a large block with high fencing and foliage surrounding its two private outdoor spaces. The house can sleep 2 - 6 people. Both bedrooms feature queen size beds with quality pillows, quilts and mattress protectors; the third bed is a fold-out sofa bed in the lounge. Additional blankets and pillows are provided for cold nights and keeping cosy.

1. The kitchen is functional and fully equipped with all crockery and cutlery, stove, oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. You will be able to prepare your meals in comfort and cook up a storm to impress your family or friends.

2. The living and dining areas are spacious and bathed in natural light. These areas are open plan and include the widescreen LCD TV, digital channels, DVD/CD player, iPod docking station, stereo and a selection of DVDs, books and board games.

3. The bathroom is great. It features a bathtub with hyrdro-spa jets, ample vanity space, separate toilet and fully fitted European laundry with washer. The spa bath is amazing to soak in. There's nothing better than relaxing your entire body at the end of the day by soaking in a hot spa.

We have two private outdoor spaces; a large undercover deck with BBQ and outdoor dining (entertainers paradise) overlooking an enclosed lawn garden (sun-lovers heaven) and a paved courtyard with clothes line. Both spaces are fully secure and ideal for private entertaining and allowing small children to play outside. They are both bathed in sunshine during the warmer months.

5. The house has an excellent ducted air-conditioning and heating system which means it stays really cool in summer and warm and cosy in winter. There are ducts in both bedrooms and throughout the dining and living spaces.

6. Off-street, secure car parking. Important because you won't need the car. Park it, leave it and simply walk everywhere - 5 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to the shops, 10 minutes to the pier, 10 minutes to the pub. It's all so close when you stay at this beach house.

7. Stay@Rye is two blocks from the Rye foreshore and front beach. Simply walk to the beach. It's only an hour from the CBD, yet it feels like a true holiday when you stay here. It truly is a haven for rest and relaxation.

Cottage on the terrace is a lovely presented two bedroom elevated beach house, midway between front and back beaches of Rye.

At the front of the property there is undercover parking with ten steps leading up to the Cottage's entrance. The front decking takes full advantage of the afternoon sunshine and overlooks a fully fenced treed front yard. This decking with it's Adirondack chairs is perfect for lazy afternoons, sunbathing or watching the kids play in the front yard.

Upon entrance to the Cottage there are polished floorboards throughout, with two good size bedrooms, a clean bathroom, a kitchen that overlooks the open plan living/dining areas and glass french doors that lead out to the back elevated entertaining deck.

The two sunny bedrooms comprising of a master bedroom with queensize bed, two side tables, digital clock radio with bluetooth and USB charger built in, lamps, electric blanket, full length mirror and a full size built in wardrobe. The second bedroom has two single beds, lamps, toy cupboard, and a full size built in wardrobe. All the beds are comfortable with mattress protectors and come with pillows and doonas, please note linen and towels are not supplied.

The bathroom is clean and bright and has a full size bathtub and a hairdryer for your convenience.

This cottage has a fully equipped modern kitchen with the convenience of a dishwasher (why wash dishes on your holiday!), a full size fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, cooktop, toaster, kettle and all pots, pans, cutlery and crockery needed. There is also a coffee espresso machine (BYO K-free Aldi Pods). The kitchen has an island bench with stools, large windows that look over the back entertainment deck to the trees beyond and glass french doors.

The private entertaining deck which looks across a valley of trees is set up with a large table, chairs and a BBQ. The decking stairs lead you down to the ground level where there are many rear garden terraces with trees and pathways to explore. There is also a laundry on this level with a washing machine available to those guest staying 5 days or more upon request (otherwise there is a good laundry mat in Rye). Also on this level is a large clothes line (a smaller one is on the top level undercover near the french doors).

The lounge/dining area provides plenty of comfortable seating with a two seater couch and a three seater couch. There is also a 42 inch plasma TV, DVD player, Stereo system with radio/CD/bluetooth, board games, magazines, books, CDs, DVDs and our welcome information book which has brochures, maps, etc on what to do on the Mornington Peninsula. Please note we do not have WiFi. For your comfort we have provided a reverse cycle airconditioner for heating and cooling and a ceiling fan. The lounge/dinning area has big windows that over look the front decking and yard to the trees and garden.

The space

We offer 2 generous sized bedrooms with a queen bed in each room. Our living room features a double sized sofa bed. Our bathroom has an extra large luxurious shower and premium fittings throughout. The kitchen is fully appointed with premium fittings, large facilities including fridge, oven, gas stove, coffee station with free Nespresso pods and teas, dishwasher and microwave. We have a laundry including a washing machine, dryer and clothesline outside. Wifi, streaming apps and high quality sound is all available through our 60” inch tv and entertainment system!

Accessing Rancho Relaxo is designed with the guest in mind, with a PIN code generated for you upon booking, you never have to worry about losing keys or looking for lock boxes… all entry and locking is handled through the smart lock and PIN!
