There was some building going on next door but it didn't really bother us, nail guns didn't start too early and we were furtherest away from it. Lovely lush surroundings just not sure about the key safe to access the property felt a little uncomfortable about that maybe a different system to get keys would be better, However I would recommend to friends and would stay there again. We didn't really do cooking but it was well stocked with utensils if you wanted to, the only thing I couldn't see was a dish rack don't know if there was one as there was a dishwasher. I wan't sure about the mattress in the main room but the kids seemed to like the single beds ok. It was close to shops and transport if needed. Thanks Bungunyah it was a nice break away."

This is a private room in the Carlton South on Swanston St. This apartment is a student accommodation of 5 people with a shared kitchen, shower and toilet.
I am leaving the room to backpack in South East Asia during the summer break.

The property is located right in the heart of Melbourne, next to Lincoln Square Park beside Little Hall. It is 5 Minutes walking distance from the University of Melbourne, 7 Minutes from Melbourne Central Train Station and 2 tram stops on the doorstep on Swanston Street(the Busiest Tram corridor on earth).

Guest access
You'll be given a key set by my flatmate, through which you can access all 3 doors, entrance of the building, entrance of apartment and door of your room.

During your stay
There are 3 Boys (Including me 19M) and 2 Girls in the Apartment. Everyone in the apartment including me is a University of Melbourne student, they are super friendly and approachable if anything is needed.

Stay in a private room with your own bathroom, conveniently located within walking distance from Woolworths grocery stores, Westfield Plenty Valley shopping centre, South Morang train station, a cute corner cafe, McDonald’s, KFC, and more. You can see kangaroos in the reserve close by. You will have access to a shared kitchen with myself only. There is free limited street parking out the front. I thoroughly enjoy being hospitable and look forward to hosting you.

Guest access
You’ll have access to the kitchen, with your own food storage, and space in the fridge and freezer. Additionally, the lounge room with access to Stan, Prime, Disney+. There is laundry facilities available, but to keep costs low it comes at an additional charge ($3 per wash and $3 per dryer use). There is a balcony with a seated outdoor setting and views to the reserve.

Other things to note
My dog Baxter will like your company, he does stay inside most of the day as I have small outdoor spaces. He does get walked twice a day.
