"Sage Cottage" is located at our Heritage 2 Acre property “The Oaks” on the outskirts of Lilydale. We are a perfect location for Wedding accommodation or a stay away with family or friends while visiting the Yarra Valley wineries. It is a luxurious, 9 year old, 3 bedroom home, sleeping 6 people, built in the “olden style”, yet it is fully equipped with all modern conveniences.
Sage Cottage is a spacious house, which has 3 large Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, 2 Lounge rooms, &
2 Kitchens. We have lovely outdoor areas for relaxing, or sharing a bbq dinner and drinks with friends. We also have Rosebery Cottage on the same property under a separate listing. Plus our amazing, restored Old Melbourne Tram - "Doris".

A newly renovated, light-filled bungalow set in a private garden with its own entrance. This relaxing space accommodates up to 2 guests.

Your bungalow is just 100 meters from a tram stop on the 11 West Preston Line, providing excellent access to the CBD and Brunswick’s cafes, bars, and shops. Bustling, trendy Thornbury High Street (voted the coolest street in the world!) is also nearby.

It’s 700 meters from The Merri Shops, which include a supermarket, post office, bars, and restaurants. For further connections, you’re 950 meters from the Number 1 Tram Line and 1.4 km from Bell Street Train Station. The Space

This bungalow overlooks a serene South American-themed garden, featuring lush greenery, colorful plants and sculptures and a six-seater outdoor table shaded by a sun umbrella. A gas BBQ is also available for your use.

Inside, the bungalow features:
• A queen-sized bed with luxurious 600-thread-count bed linen.
Bedside tables with touch lamps.
Clothes shelving and hanging space provided.
• A 55-inch wall-mounted smart TV.
• An ensuite bathroom with a shower (wall-mounted and handheld showerheads), vanity, and toilet. Fresh white towels and bathroom essentials (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) are provided.
• A newly installed, full equiped kitchenette with a microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine, and small fridge. (Please note: there is no oven or stovetop.)

The space
Double height ceilings greet you on entry into the gorgeous stone walled guest house. Enjoy spacious open plan living on the lower level with lounge, kitchen and dining areas. Amenities include microwave/convention oven, electric cook top, toaster, tea and coffee facilities, 50 inch smartTV with Netflix, Stan and Free Wi-FI. Upstairs enjoy the amazing view from your balcony and all the luxuries of a hotel room including a King size bed, second smart TV and ensuite. Also located on the balcony is a small BBQ with a table and chairs for outdoor dining.

The guest house shares 1.5 acres of land with the main residence and backs onto a walking trail through the state forest. The backyard has a fire pit area for you to sit back and relax while soaking in the beautiful view.

Guests can enjoy the entire property. Whilst you have your own private residence, we encourage our guest to enjoy the beautiful back yard. There is a large outdoor seating area as well as a fire pit area for you to enjoy.

Guest will receive the access code to enter the property on your arrival date. Please park your car on the left hand side of the carport.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Fashioned after the original homestead, Merlot cottage taps in to antique furnishings with a kitchenette to enjoy cooking up breakfast. With split system cooling and heating you will stay comfortable. Enjoy a peaceful glass of wine looking out to the gardens, a short stroll down to our onsite restaurant open Thursdays to Sundays to enjoy a meal, or learn about our wines from a tutored wine tasting in our cellar door.
