Peonies and Pomegranate B&B is a gateway to the Macedon Ranges and it set amongst rustic gardens. The ground floor of the country home is full of light. It's been converted into a self-contained apartment that has 3 doors leading outside to the paddocks and BBQ area. Set amongst large trees, a colourful garden, relaxing setting and plenty of fresh country air.

The Space:
The spacious accommodation is on the ground floor of our split level home, completely private and separate from the rest of the house. You have your own entrance and can come and go as you desire. The current bedding is 2 queen bedrooms and 1 single fold out bed can fit in a queen room. In the lounge room there is a double fold out sofa bed and a cot is available upon request. It has a spacious living and dining area, TV, DVD player, a bar, library with a reading nook, large bathroom, split system heating and air-conditioning, a well appointed kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, (no oven) hotplate. Private patio with BBQ, pizza oven and outdoor furniture. Pets welcome upon request. Spacious parking area and can accommodate larger vehicles. Plenty of kangaroos and colourful birds for nature lovers to see. Only a short drive to the township of Gisborne, local wineries, golf courses and nature reserves. The accommodation is also eco friendly.

In Jocelyn's garden there is peonies in spring, pomegranates in autumn and roses in summer.

Guest Access:
Guests access via side driveway (follow signage), please toot as you drive past the main house so we know you have arrived. Parking and entrance at end of driveway. We will show you around and let you know where everything is. Large vehicles accepted.

Getting Around:
It would be best to have your own car to travel to nearby destinations.

Tariff is based on minimum 2 people per night. There are two queen rooms and one single room available - extra fold out beds and a cot are also available if needed. We welcome larger groups and weekly rate is available. We can also provide an additional two single folding beds, which are $70.00 each.

Nestled in the picturesque Macedon Ranges, an easy drive from Melbourne, our property 'Taloumbi' is set on 10 acres of unique Australian bushland, brimming with ancient grass trees, seasonal wildflowers, wattles and eucalypts. Guests can lookout for amazing Australian wildlife and birdlife, whilst relaxing in our cosy boho bell tent.

We also offer guests a rare opportunity to meet our local kangaroos up close and to appreciate just how extraordinary these beautiful Australian animals are.

Our 5m bell tent has a queen size bed with quality linen, electric blanket, bean bag lounge chairs, heater, fan, WiFi, bluetooth speaker, coffee machine, kettle, mini fridge, crockery, cutlery, glassware and towels. The private bathroom is located in our rustic house less than 50 metres away (via an autonomous entrance). It includes a toilet, shower (over a bath) and a vanity, with fresh towels and essential toiletries.

An à la carte vegetarian or vegan breakfast with 'tent service’ is included. Guests are also welcome to use our 10m swimming pool (during summer), and our BBQ and gazebo area.
