Madigan’s Way is a delightful cottage located in central Daylesford. Beautifully appointed the cottage is set in a peaceful and picturesque part of town, surrounded by trees and gardens designed and installed by well known designer and landscaper Patrick Milne of ‘the Scape artist’. Featuring 2 king size beds with hotel quality linen. Upstairs, in the loft, overlooks the garden and in the cooler months views through the gully. Downstairs looks out to the verandah and front garden.

The kitchen wraps around a central table directly in front of the fire place featuring a ‘Ned Kelly’ wood fired heater which is perfect in the cooler months. For those who love to cook, there are gas cooking appliances and high quality cookware is available to use by Le Creuset and scan pan. There is a Nespresso machine and coffee pods pods provided in addition to tea, milk and orange juice. Guests receive a complimentary bottle of wine or sparkling on arrival.

There are 2 lounge spaces for guests to enjoy both with 3 seater linen sofas. To the side is a small table and comfortable linen chairs where guests might like to have their morning coffee and breakfast.

The bathroom has a bath and two person shower. Provided are hotel quality towels, luxurious soaps & locally made bath salts to enhance your self care experience.

Throughout the home you will find a collection of indigenous art from Alice Springs in the Northern Territory as well as some gorgeous pieces from local artists, beautiful homewares, lighting and textiles which provides the perfect ambience for any occasion.

The home is only a short walk to the botanical gardens where you will find Wombat Hill House, the sister cafe to the Lake House which offers some of Daylesford’s finest food using local produce which the region is renowned for.

On Sunday’s the railway market provides everything for those in search of local food, produce, wares and of course great coffee.

The Cubby House is a small self contained unit in the heart of Hepburn Springs perfect for those who want to explore the region and then enjoy a peaceful sleep at night.

The Cubby contains a Queen bed, reading nook, self contained kitchen with fridge, freezer and microwave and its own bathroom and toilet.

You will be provided with tea, coffee and milk and will have access to a range of amenities for all those, damn I forgot my....... moments.
These include hairdryer, clothes steamer, single use razors, tooth brushes, toothpaste, bandaids, first aid and sanitary products etc. We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible.

The Cubby is on a gorgeous 2 acre property that also contains the home of the owners. You are very welcome to enjoy the gardens or use the fire pit.

You will have easy lock box access to your accomodation and will be left a personalised guide from the owners Nat and Cam on their recommended things to do in the region.

This is a queer friendly space, we welcome all.

We have a very friendly French Bulldog named Meatball. If you don't like dogs let us know, otherwise she is likely to greet you with butt wiggles.

There is a long driveway on the property and there are lots of pebbles and steps if you are going through the gardens. This property will not be a great fit for people who need something accessible.

The space
The views!! Everyday I look out and think that life couldn't be more beautiful, then the mist lifts and the sun comes out and the view is transformed. But the jewel in the crown is the cozy stone and straw bale studio space. Open plan it is full of character and extremely comfortable.

Our guests will have access to shared drive and parking, shared large garden. Own bathroom with bath and kitchen space. The bedroom is divided by metal screens from the living space.

We are an inclusive accommodation and welcome all people to stay including LGBTQ+ guests. If you have any questions or special requests, please let us know.

The drive does run pass the studio so you may see us drive past. We also have a friendly cat who would love a cuddle if you see them and may even come in and jump on the bed.

On the odd occasion, we do accept pets but like to have a chat first to make sure that they will get along with our cat.

We try and be as eco-friendly as possible. This includes sun-drying our towels, which can make them a bit scratchy and not using plastic bags in our bins. If you are wanting to compost, we encourage you to use the compost bin which is outside, to the left, under the silver birch trees. Bins and recycling are behind the studio, on the drive, near the main house.

Also, we don’t allow open flames like candles in the BnB.

The Jamieson Cottage is one of two cottages listed on this Airbnb site. “The Jamieson" and "The Raglan Cottage” were originally part of the first Cobb and Co staging station and booking office, which operated on this site from 1858 until 1877. Both cottages lie at the rear of the former Jamieson Hotel, which was built by American prospector and entrepreneur Henry Jamieson in 1858. The ground floor of this building also houses Sakana Restaurant (formerly Kazukis) and EKO Skin Care Spa.

The space
The Cottage is positioned on the corner of Camp and Raglan Streets with access to the cottage off Raglan Street. It is within easy walking distance to the Daylesford CBD, fine dining establishments such as Sakana (Formerly Kazukis) and Mercato, the Convent Gallery and Reception Centre, Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens, and the very popular Sunday Market.

The space
The newly renovated accommodation combines a bed/living/kitchen area with a private bathroom with shower and vanity. Well insulated, the air conditioner heats and cools the place very quickly.
The kitchen facilities include a gas cook-top & oven, dishwasher, fridge, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and condiments. To start the day the coffee machine includes complimentary coffee pods and teas, a toaster, kettle, and a breakfast table with bar stools. A gas Webber BBQ is available upon request.
The comfortable queen size bed has both a memory foam and pillow top mattress topper
The armchair folds out into a single camp sized bed for a third guest or as a day bed.
The WiFi provides unlimited internet (b/w 30-80mbps speed in the bedsit area), there is a TV with Netflix (no free-to-air reception) and Chrome Cast.
An Indoor/outdoor area includes a 4 person hot tub, seating & table, plus exercise equipment (free weights) and yoga mats.
The standalone accommodation is privately located at the back of the property. There is a large farm next door, from time to time you may hear the workers during weekdays, but at night and weekends it is very quiet.
I live in a nearby (my house is approx 25m away) and if there is anything you need please don't hesitate to ask. A privacy screen blocks view from my windows into the accommodation, and a double screen makes the spa area private as well.

The newly renovated studio apartment has handmade carpentary, including a large curved desk positioned in front of a large window allowing for natural light to fill the space with expansive views of sky and trees so that you can use the studio as a writing or work retreat and break things up with a walk around the lake, or a gourmet meal or massage in the area - there is plenty to choose from.

The studio is well stocked with a curated collection of vinyl including contemporary local artists, folk, jazz and classical, with many classic and iconic albums for you to enjoy.

There is a large array of books - classics, cooking, fiction, non-fiction, biographies and children's books and plenty of children's and family board games should the weather stop you from enjoying the great outdoors.

If you let us know how old your kids are, or if you are interested in puzzles and games, we always try to provide age-specific books and games.

The modern and stylish light-filled ensuite bathroom boasts a spacious shower, with a high window and an eco-friendly compostible toilet which is odourless, fuss-free & sustainable. The composting toilet system utilises natural processes to break down waste with no odours due to the automatic exhaust fan that is activated upon use.

There is also a fan for use whilst enjoying a hot and steamy shower.

We provide environmentallly friendly soaps, facewash and good quality shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, a hairdryer and towels.

Melrose Studio is a short walk up the hill of the owner's property which sits on the street front. There is a gate and bamboo fencing to create privacy for you during your stay.

Guests are welcome to drive all the way up to the studio, or park on the street. We are a family of four, with two young children and live at the front of the property. We are always happy to help you with any information or questions you may have but also understand that some guests prefer to keep to themselves. We will be guided by you.

The Lakeside Guesthouse is a recently built, entirely self-contained 2-bedroom guesthouse which sleeps up to 6 guests. It has been tastefully decorated with comfort and relaxation in mind. Studio on Bridport is a unique property located in the heart of Daylesford. Recently updated and landscaped, Studio on Bridport is tucked away from the main street and surrounded by verdant gardens, all the while being only a few minutes walk into town. The Studio's modern comforts and rustic charm is the perfect country getaway to either explore Daylesford on foot, or jump in the car and see all that our beautiful region has to offer.

The space
The Studio is well insulated, with multiple sources of heating, including a combustion wood heater.

The Studio consists of an open plan layout with a living space, dining area and fully equipped kitchen, including kitchen island. A dividing wall seperates the sleeping quarters from the rest of the space, complete with a newly renovated ensuite bathroom.

Private gardens surround The Studio and with plenty of space for an outdoor meal.

Studio on Bridport is a freestanding separate residence at the back of our property. While The Studio offers plenty of privacy, you will likely cross paths with us and/or our playful dog!

Guest access
After parking on the street, follow the stone pathway down our driveway and enter through the side gate. You will then meander through our garden to arrive at the entrance to Studio on Bridport - your own private Daylesford retreat.

Other things to note
We have two groodles, Sonny and Buddy, who we let out into the backyard regularly. They love meeting new people and usually are quite excited about playing a game of fetch!

Please be aware that you may come across Sonny and Buddy when leaving the studio and walking through our backyard. If this will be a problem, please let us know ahead of time so we can ensure our dogs will not be in your way.

Our wifi can also be patchy at times. We cannot guarantee that your streaming service will always work! Rest assured, we have a wide array of DVDs to keep you entertained. Or perhaps take the opportunity to disconnect altogether!
