Lady Marmalade is a super cosy, luxury retreat with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & views across to the Daylesford Convent & Wombat Hill. Main street's restaurants, cafes, bars & shops are a 5-7 minute walk away while Lake Daylesford is 10-12 minutes.

She has an oversized en-suite with stand-alone spa & Aurora Day Spa products. A log fire, A/C, ducted heating, well equipped country kitchen, free WiFi, Bluetooth sound system, Streaming, large screen TV, record player, vinyls & board games to play.

Set amongst a large peaceful garden the cascading block has many parts to enjoy. The garden evolves through the seasons and the balcony faces North and East with views across to Wombat Hill. Perfect for watching the birdlife fly over and the incredible stars at night. The side covered decking is protected from the elements and is home to an outdoor lounge setting lit with festoon lighting and the gassed up BBQ.

Lady Marmalade is comfortable all year round. Daylesford can experience the extreme weather and so the Lady is equipped with double glazed windows and doors, ducted heating throughout and a log fire to get all cuddly with. There are A/C's in each bedroom and the main living area for the warmer months.

Each bedroom can be configured to 1 King Bed or 2 Singles. This gives our home flexibility to accommodate four single people or 2 couples or a combination. Please let us know when you book so we can prepare the rooms to your needs. The first bedroom has a brand new en-suite (which was recently built from the third bedroom, so it is huge). The en-suite has a 12 jet stand alone spa, double vanity, drenching & powerful rain shower and toilet. The second bathroom has been built in the last 5 years and has a large powerful shower, vanity and separate toilet. We use Aurora Day Spa products in both bathrooms.

All linens and towels are provided for your comfort.

Our kitchen is fully stocked with all the implements, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils needed (even a cocktail shaker and martini glasses). Our favourite recipe books and good knives (with sharpener) for the more serious cooks out there. We have a small pantry with essentials like S & P, some herbs, spices, spreads, oil and sauces as well as a welcome surprise or two. A range of loose leaf organic teas and Nespresso coffee machine & pods are also supplied. Of course we have a dishwasher - who wants to do dishes when they are away?

The round dining table has seating for four which looks out to Wombat Hill. The living area was built to be cosy. Whether it be playing board games at the coffee table while sitting on cushions or watching the 50 inch TV which swivels to suit the room. The TV is hooked into the internet and Lady Marmalade has Netflix, Stan, Disney, HayU & Prime streaming accounts (how modern). We have Chromecast for those wanting to stream their own programs from their device. The Yamaha sound bar is wifi and Bluetooth enabled so you can stream all your own music and it makes any movie sound incredible. Or you can go "old-school" and relax to our eclectic vinyl collection of oldies. Free NBN Wifi is available for guests. The log fire is easy to start and maintain and is perfect for the colder months.

We are dog lovers. Our own dogs, Cooper and Chops love Lady Marmalade and so we have created our home to welcome well behaved dogs and owners. The home is not suited to dogs over 15 kilos (sorry our garden and floor boards can't cope). The backyard is dog proof with secure gates. We ask you to follow our house rules concerning your fur babies.

The garden is our pride and joy. Guests are welcome to pick and use our edible garden treats while they are with us.

Relax at this two storey stone house, centrally located in Hepburn Springs, but right next to the forest. This is a peaceful place to stay. Breathe in the fresh air, from the pine and poplar trees, eucalypts and lavender on site. You will feel refreshed being amongst nature and trees, and cheer up with the bright colours of this cheerful house. It has a rustic European feel, with timber ceilings upstairs, and a Blackwood kitchen. The grounds are spacious, great for children.

The space
This is a bedroom with a comfy queen size bed, accommodating 2 adults. The bed is comfortable, and has an electric under-blanket. The room now has beautiful new curtains and bedside lamps.
The large deck downstairs looks towards the forest, there are magpies, rosellas, and kangaroos. There is a corner spa bath, a spacious kitchen/living area, and spacious grounds. Guests need to bring their own towels. Doonas/blankets are provided.

Guest access
There is free parking at the property. Guests can use the upstairs bathroom and toilet, and the kitchen, which has functional hotplates, microwave oven, sandwich maker, kettle and an Aldi coffee machine. About 100 m away is a cute reserve, which has a swing high up on a tree, and is a great attraction for kids and those young at heart.

The living areas and the bathroom may be shared with me and other guests. Please leave the house as you found it. It is guests' responsibility to clean all surfaces they use, including the bath tub and vanity. Close doors and walk up and down the stairs gently.

The Cubby contains a Queen bed, reading nook, self contained kitchen with fridge, freezer and microwave and its own bathroom and toilet.

You will be provided with tea, coffee and milk and will have access to a range of amenities for all those, damn I forgot my....... moments.
These include hairdryer, clothes steamer, single use razors, tooth brushes, toothpaste, bandaids, first aid and sanitary products etc. We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible.

The Cubby is on a gorgeous 2 acre property that also contains the home of the owners. You are very welcome to enjoy the gardens or use the fire pit.

You will have easy lock box access to your accomodation and will be left a personalised guide from the owners Nat and Cam on their recommended things to do in the region.

This is a queer friendly space, we welcome all.

We have a very friendly French Bulldog named Meatball. If you don't like dogs let us know, otherwise she is likely to greet you with butt wiggles.

There is a long driveway on the property and there are lots of pebbles and steps if you are going through the gardens. This property will not be a great fit for people who need something accessible.

5. Cleaning Up
Before check-out, please:
• Wash all used dishes, mugs, and utensils
• Empty all rubbish bins
Extra cleaning fees may apply if the property is left in an excessively dirty or messy condition.

6. Check-In & Check-Out Times
• Check-in: After 3:00 PM
• Check-out: By 11:00 AM
Late check-out is charged at AUD $25 per hour and not allowed beyond 11:30 AM unless agreed in advance.

7. Security Deposit & Damages
A AUD $300 security deposit may apply. Any rule violations or damage to the property or its contents may result in deductions up to this amount.

8. Photo ID Requirement
All guests must provide a valid passport or Australian driver licence before check-in. The name must match the booking name.
If a valid ID is not provided, check-in will be refused and no refund will be issued.

9. Sensitivity to Scents and Environment
The property is professionally cleaned before each check-in. Please note that scent perception is subjective, and we cannot take responsibility for individual sensitivities to natural or environmental smells (e.g., nearby plants, cleaning products, etc.).
Refunds will not be issued for personal sensitivities that are not caused by a verified issue with the property. We encourage guests with known allergies or sensitivities to consider this before booking.

10. Rubbish Bin Collection
Guests are required to follow the provided schedule for taking the rubbish bins out for collection. Please place the bins at the front gate on the specified day and time as instructed after check-in. This helps avoid fines from local council waste services and ensures proper waste management.

Dijon is a small but charming, self-contained studio space with one queen sized bed, kitchenette, couch and table within that area.

Set in a spacious garden it comes equipped with some breakfast provisions, cooking basics, separate bathroom area and outdoor garden seating.

It is only a short walk to the Hepburn Bathhouse, cafes, and therapy providers or alternatively, bushland walking tracks.

The space
Dijon is situated down a winding stone path, looking out over a gentle sweep of garden, sheltered by majestic pines.

From inside a queen sized bed faces double glass doors opening onto a brick terrace: the setting/view is quiet and peaceful, ideal for meditation or an evening glass of wine.

Inside again, on the other side of the alcove is a kitchenette, equipped with food basics, tea, coffee, cooking oil and the like, plus microwave, hotplate etc. Breakfast provisions are included in the price for the first night.

As well there is a dining table, couch, flat screen TV, DVD selection, books, games, CD player, flat panel heating and air con.

Outside the entrance door a huge market umbrella provides shade for
al fresco dining or BBQ on request during the summer months.

Dijon is very private, having its own entrance and perfect for a restful stay, for either one or two people. Children are welcome, however, there is no specific bedding provision for them.

Guest access
Guests have access to off-street parking and completely private entrance to the accommodation. There are no shared amenities, as Dijon is entirely self-contained.

Unfortunately we cannot accept pets as the property is not fenced and accommodation carpeted.

This suite is classy yet down to earth, interesting, comfortable, and arty, with nice views. You feel like you are away from it all, with sounds of kookaburras, or just quiet. Imagine sinking into the amazing corner spa bath, and then wearing a soft robe , with a drink of wine on the house, either indoors or at your outdoor table, enjoying a view of the nearby nature and wildlife, within walking distance to restaurants, general store and Bath House.

The space
This is a separate suite, attached to a house, built to take advantage of the location. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the town. You enter off the deck which is high up (there are about 12 steps). The suite has its own separate entrance off the deck, with a large sliding door. There is a queen size bed and a sofa bed. There is a kitchenette with a jug, a sandwich maker/toaster, a fridge, a microwave oven, cups, glasses, cutlery, tea and coffee, and a tea pot. There is a new roller blind on the window.
UHT milk is provided. A cooked breakfast may be available by advance notice and attracts an extra fee. The suite faces South and East, so it is light but does not get the really hot sun. There is an evaporative cooler and a high speed fan for those rare hot evenings, and you can leave the door open for ventilation, it is secluded and safe. The suite is suitable for a single, a couple or a couple of friends who may want to share a room but want to sleep separately, as there is a sofa bed. It is also suitable for a family with one or two young children.

You can take a pleasant walk by turning right at the end of the driveway, and then left at the end of the street. Just follow the path with the Bush on your right, past some rocks and small waterways. . You will get to Hepburn pool that way, and then once down at the pool, there is a metal gate that leads to a path through the forest and ends up near the Hepburn Bath House.

This Japanese inspired timber home has floor to ceiling walls of glass in the living/ dining area. The view of the enclosed garden area as well as the rear garden adds to the ambience of this retreat for two. tasteful simplicity and quality with a difference.

The space
While the buzz of Daylesford is barely a few minutes drive, here at Musk Creek Hollow is another world of peace and solitude. A stroll through the garden reveals a myriad of wonderful plants and a babbling creek that flows all year round. An over sized garden chair is a treasured spot for relaxing with a book, accompanied by foraging birds. Even from inside the cottage, by the warmth of the wood fire or the coolness of the air conditioner with a favourite CD playing, the garden still envelops you with its tranquil ambiance.
There is a full kitchen with everything you need to self cater. Tea, coffee & long life milk is supplied & there is a Nespresso coffee machine a supply of pods for your stay. Cooking oil, salt and pepper can also be found in the pantry. There is a smart tv for your viewing pleasure.
In the bedroom you will find a queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom. Sorry but there is only a shower as we are on tank water out here in the country and filling a bath would be contradictory to good water management practices. I do hope you understand.
Musk Creek Hollow is also pet friendly so feel to have your fur baby accompany you on your country escape. I do ask that your well behaved pet is not left inside the cabin unsupervised. The enclosed courtyard garden is fully fenced. Pets are not permitted on the furniture or the bed. Please clean up after your dog in the garden.
Enjoy a body massage in Daylesford, but experience a massage of the soul at Musk Creek Hollow.

Musk Creek Hollow is a pet friendly property with a small secured garden area. Your pet is welcome to accompany you inside the cottage under your supervision. Please clean up after your pet and do not allow them on the furniture or bed.
DIRECTIONS TO MUSK CREEK HOLLOW 600A Trentham/Daylesford Road, Musk
1. Travel from Melbourne via the Calder Freeway and head towards Bendigo.
2. Take the Woodend exit and continue through the forest towards Woodend
3. The turnoff to Daylesford is just after the pedestrian crossing on your left. It’s the Trentham /Daylesford Rd.
4. Follow this road towards Trentham. You will go through the small town of Tylden.
5. The turn off to Daylesford is a further 10 min drive. Take this turn off to the right & head towards Daylesford.
6.You will pass through a couple of small towns. The first is Lyonville. Next you will go through Bullarto.
7. MUSK IS NEXT. Watch carefully as the sign is quite small and easily missed.
8. You will pass Wallaby Creek Olive Grove on your left & a blue sign on your right for Peppermint Springs.
9. Musk Creek Hollow is at the bottom of the decline, the last house on your left just before the bend at the guard rails.
There is a sign on the nature strip.
10.If you pass the second sign directing you to Dairy Flat FARM & Lodge then you have gone too far.
The key will be in the key safe on the fence near gated entrance. This will unlock the padlock on gate as well as the front & back door. Code will be supplied once booking is confirmed. Please return the key to the key safe when you depart.

POWER OUTAGES:
In the case of a power outage there are battery operated lanterns on the shelf opposite the fridge. There is also a torch on top of the fridge. The property will also be
without water as the cabin is serviced by tank water requiring an electric pump. There are a number of individual bottled water on the floor behind the curtain of the shelf where the crockery is located & also a large 10 litre cask of fresh water for your use.
There is also a butane portable gas stove located beneath the shelving where the water bottles can be found. This could be used if the outage is prolonged.
I will keep you up to date as Powercor advise me. Outages can be common during excessive rain or wind as the many trees in the area are susceptible to falling & bringing down powerlines. Hopefully you will not need to make use of the emergency items.

Most of the downstairs area of the home is available for you to use with a queen bed and television in your room. The massage area has a reception/longe area which you can use at night. You have an downstairs entrance and space to park you car off street. A bathroom and small kitchenette with a small bar fridge. Microwave, toaster,kettle, tea and coffee, breakfast cereal, toast and vegemite are provided. I have a two storey home in a quiet street minutes from Lake Daylesford and the mineral springs, Mill Markets and main shopping area set in luscious tree, birds and garden surroundings. It’s a birders delight! Massage and body treatments are available on site but booking ahead for Saturday’s is advised.
