The tub can be heated to your desired water temperature for enjoyment during both the hot and cooler months of the year. An outdoor shower for rinsing prior to dipping is beside the tub. Plastic tumblers, wine glasses, stubby holders, repellent and towels are available for use.

Wood is provided for the fire pit. This can be used between March and October unless there is a total fire ban in place. You'll find a lighter and kindling by the firepit, and a warm blanket in your room that you can use to cuddle up with by the warm glow.

A portacot, highchair and ironing board with iron are also available for use. Cards, puzzle and reading material are available along with an umbrella, backpack and sewing kit for those unexpected moments.

Allocated parking is at the front of the property and further on-street parking is available in the quiet court, also at the front of the property. The path to your door from your allocated parking is well-lit. A ten minute walk will get you to a bus to take you to the CBD. An UBER ride to the train station or CBD will cost you about $14 - $21.

Out the front of the house you will find a tram stop for Bendigo Tramways which is Australia's largest tourist tramway and welcomes over 40,000 visitors annually. The Bendigo Tramways Depot is the oldest operating tram depot in Australia and it is a great way to explore the city and learn about Bendigo’s history.

Our central home is a short 20 minute stroll to the CBD and a 5 minute walk to one of Bendigo's best attractions, Weeroona lake.

Everything we needed was in the beautifully decorated home. We really enjoyed our stay. Having a laundry was so handy. The home is quite spacious for a 2 bedroom unit with plenty of cupboard space and enough room for suitcases in bedrooms. It’s a peaceful place to stay. The fence was approx 110cm high at the lowest part if that helps other dog owners. We will be returning :)"

Spring Gully is a great base to explore the Bendigo township. Only a 5 minute drive to CBD and a short walk to the local bus stop. The private room is situated in a quiet setting next to bushland with the Goldfields Walking Track only 40 metres by. Cafe's and supermarket close by.

The space
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and desk. There is a cupboard with hanging space for your clothes and clean linen. Towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided. The private bathroom has a shower, bath and toilet. You will have access to Wifi.

Netflix, SBS on Demand and YouTube is available on the television situated in the shared lounge room.

You are more than welcome to use the fully equipped kitchen to cook and store food in the fridge. Breakfast of cereal, baked beans, eggs and some goodies are provided. There is coffee, tea and hot chocolate provided in the bedroom available at your leisure.

The living room has a sofa and a smart tv. Netflix and SBS on demand available.

I live here with my two adult children. Our house is quiet between 11pm and 7 am. My dogs bark Tuesday morning as the garbage trucks go by. You are welcome to have cereal and toast for breakfast if you would like to, help yourself to tea and coffee. You can watch tv or Netflix in the lounge room. If you like. Please make yourself at home and enjoy your stay.

There are vegetable gardens in two different locations around the house. The front veranda is a nice place to sit and watch the world go by.

The cottage is on my property and close to the main house but is completely self-contained. The bathroom/laundry is also my laundry, however, I will ask before using.
The kitchenette has a portable hob, portable oven/air-fryer, sandwich press, microwave, decent sized fridge/freezer and Nespresso coffee pod machine.
There is a screen with a chromecast device connected. It does not function as a normal tv with live channels.
The bedroom has a king-single sized bed which is super-comfy and all sheets and towels are 100% cotton. There is a reverse cycle heater/aircon in the bedroom for perfect temperature control.
The cottage is filled with rustic charm but has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Guest access
You are welcome to wander around my garden, however please only use the table and chairs that are designated for guests, and not the settings directly next to my back door or kitchen door.

Other things to note
There is a single step down to the bathroom/laundry and a further single step down to the loo andexterior door.

I have a small range of books for you to enjoy during your stay.
The screen only works to cast apps to from your phone/ipad/etc. You must have the apps already working on your own device.

The self-check-in is only for guests arriving during daylight hours. If you will be arriving after dark, you will need to ring my front doorbell to collect the keys.
