Facilities:

Gonzaga has a fully equipped kitchen with electric cooktop, microwave/convection oven, and nespresso coffe machine. The lodge has an open plan kitchen/meals and living area. The lounge area has TV, DVD player, and iPod stereo system.
There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed, and two bunk rooms downstairs have 4 single beds each.
The lodge has one bathroom including laundry, and one powder room.
Bedding is not provided, please bring your own linen. There are douvets & pillows but need to bring pillow cases & sheets.

Staying at Gonzaga:

Please note, Gonzaga is a family run lodge. We keep our booking prices down by keeping things simple. You will need to bring your own linen (bottom and top sheets, pillow case and towel). We also expect guests to leave Gonzaga as they found it. When leaving the lodge, we ask guests to leave it tidy, put all dishes away and remove all rubbish. A cleaner will be in after your stay to do a thorough clean before the next guests.

If you haven't visited Mt Buller before, please be aware that there are fees that apply to on mountain stays, including park fees, car parking and taxis to the accommodation. Please visit the Mt Buller resort website, or ask the property manager for information and advice.

There is no parking available at the property during the ski season.
Access to the lodge, at all times of year, requires a short walk (approx 50m)

Bookings:

Please note we have a minimum two night stay on weekends during the winter season.

Conditions and Payment:

Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation

Note: Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.

Guests are asked to leave the lodge as they find it.

Payment can be made by credit transfer only. Payment in full is required no less than 2 weeks prior to the booking period, for advance bookings, or upon confirmation of the booking for bookings made within 2 weeks of the booking period.

Cancellation policy: Cancellations made more than 2 weeks in advance will be fully refunded. Cancellations less than 2 weeks but more than 48hrs in advance will incur a 20 percent cancellation fee. Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of booking will not be refunded. The owners will make every effort to make sure the the property is available as booked, however the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.

Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments.

Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.

Departure - the property should be left in the same state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10:00 by the latest.

Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.

Linen is to be supplied by the tenant.

Pets are not allowed. State Law restricts pets from entering Alpline resorts such as Mt Buller, and severe penalties apply.

Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.

Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.

If reservation is made less than one calendar month prior to arrival, full payment is required immediately.
Failure to make payment by the due date may result in the cancellation of you booking without notice.

The house is located close to Chamois run and gives skiing access via the rope tow to Standard run and then up Bull run to Bourke Street.

Was quickly resolved" - "Very late check in 4pm and standard check out. With this, luggage becomes a logistical nightmare. What to do with your luggage if you arrive in the morning for a full day of skiing. It was suggested we maybe able to store it for a price in the village centre. But the problem then is you then need to lug it up the mountain to your accommodation, as the free shuttle buses do not except luggage. We had pre booked the taxi from the car park to accommodation and back prior to us arriving, which is quite expensive, so adding more trips on this taxi service for our group was not an option. May I suggest that, as you have refuse huts for rubbish located adjacent accommodation, you could have communal luggage huts for storage until rooms are available for check in at 4pm. This whole luggage soap opera spoilt a beautiful and picturesque weekend!"

The space
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Please bring along all linens and bedding such as pillow cases, sheets, sleeping bags and towels. Please bring linens to fit either single or double. Pillows are provided.

Your room rate is for maximum 2 people. The rooms have a combination of double beds and single beds/bunks.

Iltis has a homely communal atmosphere with a large living room, dining room and kitchen.

You will be allocated cupboard and fridge space to store your food.

There is ample ski storage and a large drying room, which converts to bike storage in summer.

Laundry facilities are available.

A games room complete with a pool table is located downstairs.

An outdoor BBQ is on the verandah.

Guest access
The entry door is located partly down the hill on the left-hand side of Iltis as you stand facing it on the road.

There is a white-board inside the entry foyer with room allocations.

Check in to your room is not until 5pm - you can arrive at Iltis any time and use the facilities, you just cannot access your room or fridge space until 5pm.

You may leave luggage in the storage area outside/opposite room 9 (downstairs) or in the rumpus/games room (also downstairs)

Checkout from your room and the fridge is strictly 2pm - again you can continue to use Iltis’ facilities after this time but you must vacate your room and fridge space by 2pm (again, you can leave luggage in the storage area)

Upstairs in the kitchen there is a cupboard with your room number allocated to you for food storage.
There is also an allocated shelf in the fridge with your room number on it for you to use.

If you arrive early or wish to leave later than 2pm, any fridge items can be stored outside on the front veranda so long as they are zipped into a bag on in a closed container (….. beware the birds/animals who love to help themselves to open containers!) The temp outside rarely gets above 4 deg (fridge temp!)

Often it is possible to access your room and the fridge earlier than 5pm, it just depends how busy it is - generally if your name is written on the board then your room is ready and you can move in.
(If you can't find your name on the whiteboard it means your room is still being cleaned)

The Hut Managers name is Bronwyn if you have any questions. Don't hesitate to introduce yourself if she doesn't introduce herself first!

Don't forget to BYO sheets, sleeping bags, pillowcases and towels.

The Peak 104, Mt Buller is a beautiful apartment located only 70 meters from the village. With stunning views it is ideal for families and small groups. It has a fully equipped kitchen including a Nespresso machine, dishwasher and microwave, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and opening plan living. The top of the Lydia Lassila chairlift is only 20 meters from the front door which sets you straight off onto skiing, walking or bike trails.

The space
Located on the ground floor access is easy via the front door to the apartment complex or up through the internal lift accessed by the car park (there is keyless entry and codes will be provided prior to stay).

The secure undercover parking is available outside of the Winter ski season, if you do need information on Winter parking please refer to the Mt Buller website.

The apartments 2 bedrooms contain one queen size bed and two single bunks. The bathroom has an over bath shower and a separate powder room.

The whole apartment is your with:

During Winter there is a free shuttle to help you get around with a stop very close by, but with the central location you will find it easier to probably just walk.
