From the moment you walk through the front doors, you will feel the relaxing atmosphere of our cosy Old miners cottage. Renovated throughout, there is plenty of room inside and out, whether you have 2 people or 6. You are a 3 minute walk to the main Street, only a short 5 minute stroll to the famous mineral springs, where you can sample all the different spring waters straight from the ground using the big old hand pumps. There is also the old Pavilion where you can sit with a hot drink and scones or take a dip at The Bath House. There are walking tracks everywhere should you wish to follow the old trails or sit back and relax during the day on our back decking and listen to the wild birds and at night look into the clear skys and admire the stars
We have a large fully equipped kitchen, should you wish to stay in or there are some great restaurants in Hepburn Springs and Daylesford. At entry level we have 2 bedrooms with Queen size beds and a full ensuite to each. Kitchen, meals area and living room with gas log fire. There are 4 split system air con/heating units inside the home also to keep you cosy warm on a cold day or cool on a hot day. Downstairs there is another living room with a double bed as well. Full bathroom with large spa bath. A full laundry and large outdoor decking with nice lawn area and gardens. On a calm day you can hear Spring creek at the back of the property running and if you are really lucky we have visits from some of the local kangaroos. Relax at this two storey stone house, centrally located in Hepburn Springs, but right next to the forest. This is a peaceful place to stay. Breathe in the fresh air, from the pine and poplar trees, eucalypts and lavender on site. You will feel refreshed being amongst nature and trees, and cheer up with the bright colours of this cheerful house. It has a rustic European feel, with timber ceilings upstairs, and a Blackwood kitchen. The grounds are spacious, great for children.

The space
This is a bedroom with a comfy queen size bed, accommodating 2 adults. The bed is comfortable, and has an electric under-blanket. The room now has beautiful new curtains and bedside lamps.
The large deck downstairs looks towards the forest, there are magpies, rosellas, and kangaroos. There is a corner spa bath, a spacious kitchen/living area, and spacious grounds. Guests need to bring their own towels. Doonas/blankets are provided.

Guest access
There is free parking at the property. Guests can use the upstairs bathroom and toilet, and the kitchen, which has functional hotplates, microwave oven, sandwich maker, kettle and an Aldi coffee machine. About 100 m away is a cute reserve, which has a swing high up on a tree, and is a great attraction for kids and those young at heart.

We have a very friendly French Bulldog named Meatball. If you don't like dogs let us know, otherwise she is likely to greet you with butt wiggles.

There is a long driveway on the property and there are lots of pebbles and steps if you are going through the gardens. This property will not be a great fit for people who need something accessible.

Enjoy private accommodation on a sprawling two-acre property, where the owner resides in a separate house. You'll have access to the beautiful gardens and a dedicated parking space for one car.

Dijon is a small but charming, self-contained studio space with one queen sized bed, kitchenette, couch and table within that area.

Set in a spacious garden it comes equipped with some breakfast provisions, cooking basics, separate bathroom area and outdoor garden seating.

It is only a short walk to the Hepburn Bathhouse, cafes, and therapy providers or alternatively, bushland walking tracks.

The space
Dijon is situated down a winding stone path, looking out over a gentle sweep of garden, sheltered by majestic pines.

From inside a queen sized bed faces double glass doors opening onto a brick terrace: the setting/view is quiet and peaceful, ideal for meditation or an evening glass of wine.

Inside again, on the other side of the alcove is a kitchenette, equipped with food basics, tea, coffee, cooking oil and the like, plus microwave, hotplate etc. Breakfast provisions are included in the price for the first night.

As well there is a dining table, couch, flat screen TV, DVD selection, books, games, CD player, flat panel heating and air con.

Outside the entrance door a huge market umbrella provides shade for
al fresco dining or BBQ on request during the summer months.

Dijon is very private, having its own entrance and perfect for a restful stay, for either one or two people. Children are welcome, however, there is no specific bedding provision for them.

Guests have access to off-street parking and completely private entrance to the accommodation. There are no shared amenities, as Dijon is entirely self-contained.

Unfortunately we cannot accept pets as the property is not fenced and accommodation carpeted.

The Spa Cottage offers a small cozy affordable couples retreat nestled in the heart of Hepburn Springs. Not suitable for suitcases.

The space
Lauristina Spa Cottage is a one room simple cozy cottage with everything you need for a short getaway. Perfect for a no fuss budget trip as reflected by our pricing. Please note, it is a one-room cottage with the bed, spa and shower sharing the same space. We recommend bringing small bags rather than a large suitcase.
The relaxing bubbly spa is operated from side jets only. The side jets are adjustable to enhance your spa experience.

The spa cottage is it’s own private space, only sharing a driveway with Lauristina Guest house. Off street free parking for one vehicle is offered.

Other things to note
Access is via a key safe. You will be provided the code close to checkin. A copy of your ID is required (in addition to AIRBNB verification) on acceptance of your booking.
No additives or substances are permitted to be added to the spa, and candle burning is not permitted. Please see house manual for spa instructions.

This suite is classy yet down to earth, interesting, comfortable, and arty, with nice views. You feel like you are away from it all, with sounds of kookaburras, or just quiet. Imagine sinking into the amazing corner spa bath, and then wearing a soft robe , with a drink of wine on the house, either indoors or at your outdoor table, enjoying a view of the nearby nature and wildlife, within walking distance to restaurants, general store and Bath House.

The space
This is a separate suite, attached to a house, built to take advantage of the location. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the town. You enter off the deck which is high up (there are about 12 steps). The suite has its own separate entrance off the deck, with a large sliding door. There is a queen size bed and a sofa bed. There is a kitchenette with a jug, a sandwich maker/toaster, a fridge, a microwave oven, cups, glasses, cutlery, tea and coffee, and a tea pot. There is a new roller blind on the window.
UHT milk is provided. A cooked breakfast may be available by advance notice and attracts an extra fee. The suite faces South and East, so it is light but does not get the really hot sun. There is an evaporative cooler and a high speed fan for those rare hot evenings, and you can leave the door open for ventilation, it is secluded and safe. The suite is suitable for a single, a couple or a couple of friends who may want to share a room but want to sleep separately, as there is a sofa bed. It is also suitable for a family with one or two young children.

You can take a pleasant walk by turning right at the end of the driveway, and then left at the end of the street. Just follow the path with the Bush on your right, past some rocks and small waterways. . You will get to Hepburn pool that way, and then once down at the pool, there is a metal gate that leads to a path through the forest and ends up near the Hepburn Bath House.

This is a peaceful place, next to the bush, with a large deck which has a great view. It is very relaxing sitting on the sofas on the deck, and taking in the fresh air. This is a 2 br house, with its own front and back door. It is attached to a smaller one bedroom studio, and if there are guests there, the stairs and part of the deck are shared. The property is within a 10 minute walk to a pub and restaurants. There are often kangaroos hopping through, as well as magpies and kookaburras.

The space
The colours chosen for this house give a sense of tranquility and excitement at the same time. The living area opens onto the deck, which has two sofas undercover, so it is perfect for sitting there, having a cup of tea or a meal, putting your feet up on the sofa, and looking at the tree tops, listening to the birds. The front bedroom has its own sliding door to the deck. The kitchen has a breakfast bar with stools, a fridge, fast cooking glass electric cooktop and oven. The second bedroom, with a king-size bed, is off the rear hallway, next to the bathroom . An adult can sleep on the sofa in the living area. There is also a queen size mattress available for two guests. There will be bedding supplied for everyone. This listing has been marked as not suitable for children, HOWEVER ,if you would like to come with children, please DO make an enquiry. If the studio next door is not booked, I will be able to accommodate you. OR ALTERNATIVELY, YOU CAN book THE WHOLE PURPLE HOUSE, including the studio with its own spa bath bathroom.

The grounds are large, and guests can use the grass area beyond the driveway, all the way to the outbuildings of the next property, including the grapevine "tunnel".

When there are guests in the separate Spa suite on the left, there will be minor sound transfer, so it would be appreciated if quiet is kept between 10.30 p.m. and 9 a.m.
