Beeches has something for everyone, entering into the upper level you will find an open kitchen, dining area and lounge room, with a powder room and walk in pantry. There is a fireplace in the centre of the lounge room to add some extra charm while you relax. Outdoor balcony overlooking the garden below where the children can play, from a tiled area to play basketball and a kids play area with sand box down on the grass. Sleeping 12 in total, The Angelina features 4 bedrooms with the master situated in a separate section of the home to the other bedrooms. The Master has a queen-size bed, large WIR & ensuite. Two kid rooms, one with a Queen Bunk Bed (sleeps 4) with single bed on top and a double below and the other room with twin bunks with one containing a slide out trundle (Sleeps 5). NATURE WALKS

There are over 10 short walks close to town with Steavenson Falls being a highlight.

Steavenson Falls - An easy 700 metre walk takes you to an awe-inspiring view of one of Victoria’s highest waterfalls. Plummeting 84 metres the falls have been a favourite since the 1860’s.

To get there drive to Steavenson Falls carpark, which is located 3km along bitumen on Falls Road. Alternatively take the Tree Fern Gully Trail, a scenic 3.4 one way walk from the heart of town to the base of Steavenson Falls.

Further information about Steavenson Falls and the other walking trails in Marysville and Surrounds are available from the Visitor Information Centre, so call in and pick up a map.

Keppel Lookout Trail - Climb up through stringybark and mountain ash forest to four of Marysville's best lookouts for spectacular views across Marysville, the Cathedral Range State Park and Steavenson Falls.

The most challenging trail in the area, the Keppel Lookout Trail is fairly uneven and steep in places. Wear sturdy footwear and carry water and snacks.

Start the trail from the car park on Falls Road. Follow the trail across Robertson Gully before climbing up to Keppel Lookout, around the ridge passing Oxlee and De La Rue lookouts, and to the top of Steavenson Falls. Descend to the base of Steavenson Falls and follow the Tree Fern Gully Trail.

Note: the car park on Falls Road can also be accessed by walking two kilometres along the Tree Fern Gully Trail from Marysville

Falls Cottage is a well-equipped, picture-perfect story-book cottage surrounded by pretty-as-a-picture cottage gardens and located only a ten minute walk from the town centre of Marysville, en route to the beautiful Stephensons Falls. The property is located at the end of a no-through-road street so there is no passing traffic. The cottage offers a cosy log fire in winter (not operational during the summer months), two living areas and large under cover back deck to watch the stunning sunsets on summer nights. Falls Cottage abuts state forest and is central to a host of bush walks, bike rides, waterways and stunning scenery. The property offers a fully equipped kitchen with all utensils, crockery and cookware provided. There are two lounge areas to enjoy. One is a light and bright sunroom with French doors, flat screen tv, an abundance of natural light and a cosy log fire with firewood supplied through the winter months. The other lounge areas opens out onto the large deck and the garden and also offers a flat screen tv. There are two levels in the cottage - an upstairs mezzanine Queen size bedroom and a downstairs double bedroom. Both offer quality linen. The bathroom and two toilets (one in the laundry) are both downstairs with bathroom amenities as well as towels supplied. Laundry offers front loading washer and dryer for your use.

There is a hooded Gas BBQ and a small electric oven with 2 plate cook top on the undercover deck and an outdoor setting. The pantry has a selection of breakfast cereals as well as staples- sugar, tea, coffee, flour , oil etc.
We have a high chair, baby rocker, baby bath and folding cot available if you have an infant.
The bathroom has a large shower with an adjustable handheld fitting, small vanity, mirrored cabinet and toilet.
Laundry is equipped with a front loader washing machine and a dryer if you need to wash or just fluff up damp towels- lnstruction booklet is in overhead cupboard. An iron and ironing board are also there for your use.

Access is at the back of house via steep driveway. There is a key safe and sensor light. You will see the welcome sign on the back door.

Unfortunately our guest suite is not wheelchair or disabled friendly. If we are here you will probably hear us upstairs but we are generally quiet.

You can park next to the house. A short path, lit by sensor lights at night, leads to the front door. Follow the path on the left hand side of the house. There is a small landing with 3 steps. Access is by electronic entry code. The code will be send in an SMS to your mobile on the day of your stay or via a message through Airbnb.
No need to pickup keys and no danger of losing keys!

Other things to note
We provide electronic entry to the property, no need to pickup a key at a particular time. Shortly before your arrival we will email / SMS you a door code with which you can access the property during your stay. The entry code registers the time you first access the house and resets on your departure day. Please ensure you let us know in advance if you would like to stay longer, so we can make sure you are not locked out. We provide bedding, but no linen or personal towels. A tea towel is provided. Measuring 6 metres long and 2.5 metres wide this fully transportable home has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Tree Fern Tiny House has a double bed located in the loft. The kitchen boasts a full sized fridge, induction stovetop, combination microwave/oven, electric kettle and toaster. There is large sink to make washing up easy and plenty of under-stair storage for keeping your luggage and supplies.

The toilet is connected to town sewage, so there will be no putting up with bad smells. Hand soap and towels/bath linen is provided.

The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking supplies including but not limited to; oil, salt and pepper, tea and coffee, breakfast condiments.

A large couch next to the window provides the perfect spot to lounge in front of the fire and enjoy the view or read a book. A fold away card table stored next to the couch can be used for dining inside during inclement weather.

A split system air-conditioner/heater means you stay comfortable in both summer and winter, while the wood fireplace offers both ambiance and warmth.

There is no wi-fi available but mobile phone reception is excellent.
We do not have a television and have yet to feel the need for one. We encourage you to simply enjoy the serenity or make use of the games/books/puzzles/playing cards provided.

Guests will have complete access to the tiny house and are welcome to walk on our property. We do ask that all visitors respect our neighbours and refrain from walking through neighbouring properties.
We have a small outdoor undercover area (carport) fitted with an outdoor sink, bbq and table and chairs which guests are free to use.

Other things to note
Tree Fern Tiny House has connections to town water, sewerage and electricity. Instantaneous gas powers the hot water system ensuring you can always step into a lovely hot shower.

You will be required to connect the water and electricity when you arrive, as well as turn on the gas. This is all reasonably simple and you will be provided with clear instructions prior to arrival. However, be mindful to allow 5-10 mins to "get set up" when you arrive.

On departure we ask that you turn off/disconnect the gas/water/electricity.

Blackwood studio is a stylish, self contained apartment, nestled at the edge of the Marysville state forest.

Enjoy spectacular mountain views from bed or enjoying a cup of tea on the deck and if you're lucky the resident black wallaby or bird life will pay you a visit.

This is a split level house in which the studio apartment is a separate standalone space accessible via a separate driveway and dedicated entrance.

We like to give our guests privacy, when they are staying unless you would like to say hello :). We split our time between Marysville and Melbourne so are often in the city for work. When we are in Marysville, we normally keep a low profile to make the most of the restorative qualities of the area and are out trail running in the forest or working on creative projects upstairs.

With a recently renovated bathroom (thanks to our first stint on Airbnb! ) the unit is modern, comfortable and spacious with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing home away from home.

The Master Bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with a beautiful view onto the backyard trees. The attached ensuite is your own little hideaway with a double shower and double bath. Relax in the bath whilst looking out onto the lush bush.
There is a split system in the master bedroom (A/C & heating), as well as an extra oil heater to use if wanted.

The 2nd bedroom consists of a single bed (with pull out trundle) and bunk bed, sleeping a total of 4 people in that room. Please note that the beds are single size, not king singles (mattresses are 188cm in length). They will comfortably sleep people who are up to 180cm tall.
There is a ceiling fan in the 2nd bedroom and an oil heater to keep the room warm on chilly nights.

Both rooms have spacious cupboards that can be used for your convenience.

The 2nd bedroom is in close proximity to the main bathroom, which includes a shower over bath and toilet.

The loungeroom is styled with a mix of modern and retro furniture, creating stylish, yet warm ambience. There is also a large dining table in the open concept living area, as well as a large undercover alfresco dining area on the rear deck.

There is also a shortage of wood supplies in the area due to permanent closure of Victorian forestry operations. With this our firewood delivery is not expected until the middle of May. In the interim, only a limited amount of firewood will be provided along with firelighters and kindling. You are most welcome to bring your own firewood to burn but this must only be dry hardwood (NOT PINE AS THIS AFFECTS THE FLUE AND WILL CAUSE A FLUE FIRE DUE TO RESIDUE DEPOSITS UP THE CHIMNEY). Paper and cardboard are also not appropriate to burn in a wood fire. The local Marysville supermarket sells bags of firewood for approximately $22 per bag if you need to purchase more than what is supplied.
