There was grubby glasswear in the kitchen cupboards. There was used soaps left behind in both showers and in the cupboards under the hand basins. There was also empty toilet paper rolls, toilet paper packaging, toothpaste packaging and toothbrush packaging left in the ensuite. On arrival we had to use our own cleaning supplies, purchase new tea towels and spend the time required to clean up the mess that was waiting for us. Please be rest assured that we intend leave the premises in a clean and sound state. When you have had the opportunity I would appreciate a reply to my email."

It is an ideal base for a weeks work with the space to keep a UTE undercover, a comfortable place to relax in the evening with a spacious lounge, large smart TV, well equipped kitchen and washer and drier.

While primarily set up for work groups it is also ideal for groups who will be out all day doing activities and just need a comfortable place to come back to in the evening.

Great for couples! A pleasant, quiet area adjoining a park. We are near the beaches plus there's a lovely walking track with elevated Bay views only 100m away.
Trendy Main St in Mornington with its many shops and cafes is just 5 mins away by car or an easy 30 min stroll on the track.
The beautiful Mornington Peninsula is 50 mins drive from Melbourne; it's a very popular seaside region with beaches, national parks, hot springs, wineries, golf courses, shopping, eateries and lot's to do and see.

The space
Our house is a near-new double storey duplex. We live on the lower floor and our guests will have exclusive use of the upstairs suite which has a master bedroom, ensuite, separate toilet/WC and a cosy lounge with a big window overlooking the park.
"Beachside" is good for couples, families, solo adventurers, and business people. Bedding is a queen bed plus a sofa/foldaway bed (in the lounge).
Free WI-FI is available.

NOTE #1: Being upstairs, our accommodation is probably not suitable for children but we may be able to accommodate an infant and /or teens. Please check with us first.

NOTE #2: We only accommodate up to three persons in total. Please ask us if you're unsure.

We have a small pet dog named Bob (see pics). He's fantastic with people and will welcome you with open arms (?!!). Most of the time he just sleeps - ie if we aren't walking him. We have a gate on the stairway so Bob won't have access to upstairs if you prefer to keep him out.

Guests are free to come and go as they please and will be given a key for the front door.
We only ask that you exit and enter our home with minimum noise at night in case we are sleeping.

We do like to socialize but also respect everyone's space. When we're at home - which is a lot of the time - guests are welcome to join us for a beverage, coffee etc and share our living room, deck and backyard.

Our laundry may be used on request.

Parking is on the street outside (no cost involved).

During your stay
We are available during the day - either in person or by phone - to help guests with information and recommendations etc.
[NB: occasionally we may be absent from our house for a night or so - eg during holidays. But we'll still be contactable.]

Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE: There are no cooking facilities in the upstairs guest accommodation. There is a bar fridge and an electric jug but no toaster or microwave. Tea, coffee and snacks are provided.
We don't permit guests to cook upstairs (ie with their own appliances) but you are welcome to bring in take-away food and drink provided that the rooms are kept clean and leftovers, bottles etc are disposed of properly.
We are happy to microwave food for you.

An ironing board and iron, along with basic cleaning tools, are stored in the laundry. Should you require a dryer, there is a commercial laundromat nearby.

The space is yours! It's a little dated but still very cosy and private, you will not be disturbed. It is strategically positioned close to the beach, shops and bars what more could you desire at this price?

Other things to note
With the convenience of getting the keys from the lock box, you can check-in discreetly at your convenience any time after 3:00 pm making for an easy late-night check-in, if required.

Check-out time is a leisurely 10 am. Contact us to esquire regarding early check in/late check out.
