- "We stayed in a two room cluster flat with an en suite each and adjoining kitchenette - perfect for a weekend get away. Clean and tidy, quite new and equipped with comfy bedding and towels. The en suite was perfectly clean and the shower was great, lots of hot water and good pressure. The kitchenette was handy and equipped with some basic essentials like cups and crockery and cutlery and a fridge & microwave (in lieu of a kettle to heat water). The staff were there 24/7 and always helpful and friendly. The accommodation is student halls so expect a little bit of activity on the weekend but it was nothing rowdy or inappropriate. The general feel of the place was safe and clean. The area is a hilly residential area with a big supermarket and a strip of bars / cafes nearby and most importantly a good bus service and metro service to the old town - two stops or ten mins. Otherwise a leisurely stroll through the local town centre down the hill into the old town. Perfect. Safe and quiet neighbourhood with lots of locals nearby and all the essentials. Couldn’t fault the place. Well recommended and very budget friendly. We didn’t use any of the communal facilities but having a canteen / vending machine and outside space was handy if needed. Don’t worry about some of the dubious reviews re cleanliness and facilities - perhaps they got the place after a busy period or on a bad day because I could not find a single thing wrong with the place! Highly recommended!"
