It is also an easy walk to Bodegas Franco Españolas on the other side of the Ebro, or to Calle Laurel, which is a lively lane of tapas joints in the centre of town. Every staff member I encountered was polite and helpful, especially the gentleman who asked the bartender to give me big cup of ice. (There’s no ice machine at the hotel) If you own a travel-sized EU hairdryer, you may want to pack it, since the one here is the useless kind that is attached to the wall by a short cord and requires you to hold down a button to make it run."

- "I stayed here last year when working at the Navarra circuit, which is 15 to 20 mins away. So I did the same again this year and had the benefit of a much larger room than last year with a desk to work at. The rooms are spacious, loads of power points and quiet. Comfy bed and clothes storage. Nice bathroom with excellent shower. The breakfast was the usual continental, with a range of cereals, yoghurts, meats, cheeses, bread, pastries, fruit, juices and tea/coffee. There was also the option of eggs, bacon and chorizo sausages. All regularly topped up too. In the evening the restaurant opened about 8:45 and had an excellent value for money menu selection. The food was very good with more than enough options and menu changes to keep you satisfied when there for a week. The only think to note is it wasn't open on Saturday and Sunday night, but the adjacent bar does a great range of burgers and chips, salads, sandwiches and pastries etc. The car park is of a reasonable size and as it is on the edge of Longroño getting to and from at the beginning and end og the day was never a problem. The space
Pensión la Estación de Logroño, has single rooms, two-bedrooms, double bedrooms, triple rooms (with three beds) and quadruple (four beds). It also has bicycle guard service and backpacks for pilgrims and area where you can take, cafes and tees for the occupants of the pension. We have varied tourist information and offer visits to wineries if you wish at no cost. Our guesthouse has TV in every bedroom and free wifi for its occupants. Both families and groups are welcome.
