The mattress was extremely thin and generally small by US standards, but every hotel we stayed at in Switzerland had a version of the same thing. Free parking was great and it was fairly easy to make our way over to the train to Zermatt from here." - "We stopped over on our train trip to Geneva and enjoyed the Glacier Train that passes through town. The hotel was very clean, no carpet, modern bath, a small balcony, free internet in lobby, very nice breakfast included in the low rate. The sauna is an additional charge. The hotel paid for our taxi fare both ways to the train station. The hotel was almost too Swiss with a very plain central stairway that echoed from the lack of warm details. Also, it is in town, something that surprised us based on the photo. A very good overall value, and we would stay again."

The main Hotel is where I stay and the restaurant/bar is very good. Excellent food and very friendly staff. On my last visit I needed to get to the train station urgently and no taxis were available. The lady at reception took me personally in her own car, which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. Overall, a very nice hotel with really good staff."

The room is in a nice rearwards facing perspective looking at the nearby cable car & mountain views. lots of viewing windows and very quiet. The bedroom is large. very large and nicely decorated. The bathroom is smaller but workable for a wheelchair user. There was no shower seat in the room but the owner provided a suitable chair for my use. This worked out ok. Ideally I world recommend removing the glass panels in the shower room and fitting a flip down shower seat with safety wall mounted handles. This would make life a lot easier for further wheelchair guests. The wi-fi in the room is excellant. The hotel has a large restaurant and the food is reasonably priced and very good. The hotel also has an underground car park. Overal very impressed and highly recommended."
