The non-smoking chalet at 1650m altitude near the middle station can accommodate up to 6 persons. It has 3 bedrooms with 2 beds each (new mattresses and bed frames on the floor), washbasin and fitted wardrobe, modern shower room with toilet and a new well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven and large fridge. The stove in the large living / dining room with underfloor heating gives the room a cozy atmosphere. Comfortable leather seating area and satellite TV with flat screen, DVD, CD, books and games. New panoramic windows (3-pane double glazing and laminated safety glass) let in even more light and sunshine and enable the legendary Wallisblick already from the WZ.

- "We stayed for a week at the chalet in summer. The location is distant, but the views and surroundings are beautiful. The chalet is newely renovated and the standard is adequate. It has three bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, functional bathroom and living area with a view at mountains and the valley. It can be a good base for hiking trips and travels around the Alps. It is a bit distant from civilization (coffee shops, restaurants, shops), but some people actually like it. The nearest restaurant, which is in walking distance from the chalet, was unfortunately closed during our stay, Overall we had a really great vacation there!"

On the upper floor is the 3.5-room apartment consisting of a kitchen (stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, fridge). A living-dining room with a cozy seating area, dining table, TV and stereo. From here you can access the balcony. Two bedrooms with 2 beds each, as well as a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. In the basement there is a large storage room for storing various sports equipment (bicycles, skis, hiking boots, etc.) In the storage room there is also a ski and hiking boot dryer, as well as a clothes washing machine and clothes dryer. The storage room is slightly heated.

Valais house with lots of charm for rent in quiet, beautiful surroundings with lots of leisure opportunities. The house is made with a lot of love to detail. The wood and gill stone oven give the house a cozy atmosphere. There is a great climbing area within walking distance. Countless small hiking trails open up the area. In winter, you can reach the mountain stations to the Belalp or Aletscharena in 15 minutes. A visit to the Brigerbad thermal bath is also recommended.

The cottage is located in a quiet location right on the edge of the forest. It is styled and can accommodate a maximum of 6 persons (living space 170m2).

A spiral staircase leads to the upper floor with an open gallery, 3 bedrooms each with two sleeping places and a toilet with shower. In front of the house is a set forecourt with barbecue facilities and a hotpot in front of it.

Except for the storage room, serves as the storage of the personal belongings, all rooms can be used. For the first time use of the hotpot must be requested (CHF 100.-), the heating up to 40 degrees Celsius takes about 4 hours the first time, the reheating on the following day, about 1 hour.

Other things to note
The chalet is easy to reach by public transport or, if there is no snow, even directly by car. Tschuggen is a good starting point for the UNESCO World Heritage Site, for skiing on the Belalp or even for shopping in nearby Milan. There is an adventure playground, a table tennis table and many hiking routes pass right by. In winter you get on your skis right in front of the chalet and take the valley run under your skis. If you prefer to go by sled, you won't want to miss the pizza on the Belalp on a nice evening, followed by a sled ride down to the chalet(don't forget your flashlight).

In Blatten there is mini golf, a climbing park, a paddling pond, a playground and restaurants. On the Belalp there are wonderful views, mountain streams to dam, places to stop and fantastic hiking to the Aletsch Glacier and beyond. It has opportunities for climbing and hiking, mountain scooter rides, bike trails, paragliding, thermal baths, visiting sights (eg the Stockalper Palace). And in winter, of course, tobogganing and skiing or snowboarding up to over 3100 meters! Also included is the Massa Gorge, Switzerland's canyoning Eldorado!

Insider tip: a glacier tour on the to the largest Swiss glacier. Many mountain huts can be reached on one or multi-day tours, mountain fanatics can even make it to the Jungfraujoch.

Chalet Baumfuchs is a detached chalet located on the edge of the forest with stunning views of the Rhone Valley.
It is located in the holiday village of Tschuggen at 1600 m above sea level at the middle station of the family-friendly Belalp ski resort. In the chalet village, it has a total of 100 identical chalet, all privately owned. Some of them are rented as a vacation rental.

The space
We renovated the Chalet Baumfuchs 2021 elaborately and furnished it with a lot of love for detail. It is important to us that our guests feel comfortable and that they do not miss anything during their stay.
We also thought about the young guests. There are plenty of books and board games available for young and old.

Guest access
Summer: In the snow-free months, you can drive all the way to the chalet. Covered parking is available free of charge.

Winter: In the winter, the road that leads to the chalet is the valley run of the Belalp ski resort. This makes it possible to ski in/ski out in good snow conditions. The car can either be parked in the parking garage at the Belalpbahnen valley station (Blatten bei Naters) for a fee or in a free P&R parking lot. The chalet can be reached via the cable car (exit central station Erich). From there it is about 600 m which are laid back to the chalet via the slopes/winter hiking trail. In order to simplify the journey, a luggage transport can be booked with the Belalp Railways (round trip 120 CHF, not included in the price of the trip). The luggage - return transport must be registered with the Belalpbahnen the day before by 6 pm.

Other things to note
We try to make it as easy as possible for our guests in the chalet. Toilet paper, household paper, vinegar, oil, spices, dish soap, tabs for the dishwasher, bed linen and towels are available in sufficient quantity for the stay. The beds must be on and off. The chalet is heated via electricity and pellets, depending on the outside temperature, we would be grateful to our guests if they would refill the pellets (pellets are available free of charge in sufficient quantity) . For this, you will be pampered with a cozy fire in the living room.
