The accommodation is very centrally located, just 8 minutes' walk from Interlaken Ost train station. The Höhenmatte and the view there of the Jungfrau (mountain) is about 5 minutes away by foot. The house was built in 1911 and is a typical, old listed Swiss house.
The kitchen is large and well-equipped.
Each window offers a beautiful view of the garden. The mountains are also visible.
We try to do everything to make you feel comfortable with us.
The space
The apartment is located in an old house, but has been renovated as new. All walls were insulated in 2019, new windows and a new heating system were installed.
The kitchen has direct access out onto the garden.
It has two bathrooms. One of them is right by the room with the double bed.
In both bathrooms, it has a shower, a lavabo and a toilet.
It has toys and books for children in the apartment.
It deliberately has no TV in the apartment, but fast Wi-Fi.
The kitchen is fully equipped, it has pans, a kettle, a toaster, a rice cooker, a microwave, a dishwasher, a Bialetti coffee machine and a Nespresso capsule coffee machine.
It does not have a washing machine in the apartment.
Guest access
You're renting the bottom apartment. You are welcome to share the garden, toys and swing there. You are also welcome to use the trampoline barefoot, at your own risk.
You share the main entrance and part of the staircase with other guests and us.

Tourist tax per person / night: CHF 3.50. Tourist taxes are to be paid in cash upon key handover. You will receive a guest card that offers many discounts.

Our accommodation is an 8-minute walk from Interlaken Ost train station. The path is flat and easily manageable with luggage. The house was built in 1911 and is a listed Swiss house. In the apartment, the original wooden walls with carvings are still there, but the walls have now been insulated and the interior windows have also been replaced with new windows. The apartment has 2 loggias (balconies), and a large garden is also available for shared use.
The space
The apartment is located on the first floor and can only be reached by stairs (24 steps). From the entrance area where there is a wardrobe, you can either go to a large room, which has 3 single beds (2 are the same height and can also be used as a double bed) or go to another room with a double bed. In both bedrooms there is a closet.
It has two bathrooms.
A bathroom has a shower, toilet, and sink.
Next to it there is a small bathroom with toilet and sink.
From the living room with smart TV (with Netflix, no TV channels), you can go directly to the loggia, where the morning sun shines and you can enjoy garden and mountain views. To get into the kitchen they have to go through the living room.
From the kitchen you can access the second loggia, where there is a large table so you can also eat outside.
The kitchen is equipped with everything, it has pans, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, oil and spices and a coffee maker (with filter).
The apartment has been renovated in 2018, the walls of the kitchen and bathroom are white, but the other walls are still original beetle. In 2023, we installed a new shower
Guest access
The apartment is private and is not shared with anyone. The staircase is shared by other guests (on the ground floor there is another apartment) and us. The balconies are for you, you can use the garden with us and at most other guests.
It does not have a washing machine in the apartment.

We have a key box, but try to welcome you personally whenever possible. Shortly before your arrival, I will ask you when you will arrive and then give you more details about check-in.
