You can explore the town of Interlaken or take a quick trip to either Brienz (train takes 18mins, take the Boat instead which is 1 hour+) or Grindelwald village. (Make sure you buy your SwissPass at least 2 weeks before your travel). Hotel comes with breakfast included. I had half-board which also provided dinner. Breakfast is straightforward western-style buffet with cold and hot food, bread, spreads, yoghurt, fruits, coffee, tea, juices, milk. Good quality and more than enough. Dinner is a 3-course set menu with Starter, Main & Dessert. Basically the items they serve in the restaurant, and you can customise it if you wish (order in advance on the same day). Breakfast/Dining room also has 2 dispensers for free cold (still and sparkling) water for hotel guests only. Swiss Tap water is clean and tastes nice and is safe for drinking. Staff are helpful. Room is spacious, clean, with a good shower. Toiletries also provided. Excellent base to explore the region. Of course one highlight is Jungfraujoch. But you can also take the funicular train up the Harder-Kulm where there are good views of the mountains and also a restaurant. Once you are ready to leave, the hotel checkout is fast.
