Chalet Candamo is a luxurious 5-bedroom chalet in the centre of Mürren, a traffic-free village; refurbished in 2010 to offer spacious and luxurious accommodation for 10 people, stylishly decorated and furnished, and intelligently designed for practical convenience and comfort.

The top floor of the chalet is given over to a splendid living space open to the eaves in the dining/living area where two sets of French windows open on to a balcony facing one of the most famous views in the Swiss Alps: the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau Mountains. The heavy oak dining table seats 10 with elbow room and 3 comfortable sofas are grouped around the glassed in wood-burning fire.

Chalet Layout:

The ground floor has a front door which leads into a front hall with coat hooks and shoe racks.

There are two large bedrooms, with twinbeds that join as one if needed and plenty of wardrobe space; one bathroom with individual shower and bath, a laundry room, and a boot room with boot heaters and a ski rack with an outside door opening almost onto the piste.

The first floor comprises two large bedroom with superking beds, ample wardrobe space and balcony; one double bedroom again with a large wardrobe; one bath/shower room, one shower room/WC and one WC.

The top floor, the main living area, is open to the eaves, a south facing mainly glass aspect with a large balcony. It also has a shower room/WC, a semi open plan kitchen and a television room with a sofa bed and chest of draws which could double as a cooks bedroom if needed.

Chalet Layout:
The main entrance is located on the first floor which has a separate ski room for all ski equipment.
On entering Chalet Sofia you have a large boot room with many hooks for coats and a ski boot warmer for 16 pairs of ski boots.
On the first floor there is also a laundry room and the wellness spa which has a spacious Swedish sauna/steam room and a large covered Jacuzzi outside overlooking the most famous views in the Swiss Alps: Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains. This is the perfect place to relax after-skiing while listening to your favourite music. There is also a separate shower and w/c.
The winding broad stair case that runs through the whole chalet then leads onto the second floor where 4 spacious bedrooms are located.
Bedroom 1 - Kingsize bed with double french doors opening onto a sun terrace.
Bedroom 2, 3 and 4 - All have 1 queen size bed and 3 singles configured in a bunk bed fashion. 2 of the bedrooms open out onto there own balconies with lounge area

On this level there are 2 bathrooms with a separate w/c and shower.
The family entertainment room is also on the second floor with cosy sofas and a movie theatre with a surround sound system.
The stairs then lead to the 3rd floor of Chalet Sofia and the most spectacular open plan living with vaulted ceilings and a state of the art kitchen. A large french style dining table that comfortably seats 12 while listening to the Bose surround sound music system. There are cosy sofas in-front of the large stone open fire place. The whole 3rd floor is surrounded by balconies where you can seat 12 for lunch or have a cosy kitchen breakfast while being surrounded by the tranquil mountains.
The master bedroom is on the 3rd floor that has a king size bed and a working cosy fireplace with double doors opening onto your private terrace with comfy chairs to sit and have your morning coffee in the sunshine while listening to the singing birds.
Bedroom 5 has its own en-suite bathroom with delux shower and w/c.

Murren is a cosy mountain village situated at 1650m at the foot of the ski mountain Schilthorn 2970m on a ridge of a 800m cliff drop above the Lauterbrunnen valley right across of the impressive Jungfrau massive. Murren is by many referred to as the most beautiful ski resort in the world. The village is car free and only reached by cable car/train. The cable car that leaves from Lauterbrunnen is reached by car from International airports in Bern (1 hour) Zurich, Basel and Geneva in approximate (2 hours) or by train in just over 3 hours.
Murren ski area is connected to two other ski resorts in Berner Oberland, Wengen and Grindelwald. Together they form the ski area Jungfrau that includes 44 lifts, 213km of pist with 98 different trails including the most famous one - The Lauberhorn Rennen in Wengen, the Alpine World Cup's longest downhill race.

The view exceeded all our expectations (and we saw all the pictures and social media videos beforehand). We had everything we needed. Waking up to the delicious espresso maker and adorable coffee drinking porch spot made each morning extra special! Also, the shower was so relaxing and spacious. We were lucky to meet the owner Rob and he is such an amazing, helpful guy! He recommended a restaurant (Oberland Hotel) that served delicious traditional Swiss fondue. One funny bonus thing about the rental is right out front is a well known photo spot so we enjoyed watching everyone make memories and take pictures there. On our last day we were treated to a few inches of snow and everything looked like a winter wonderland. We were a family of 4 with 2 teens and everyone agreed this place is exceptional!"

Our studio apartment at Chalet Pironnet is super cosy, clean and comfy and has some of the most stunning views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Also very conveniently located in the village but off the main road so it's nice and quiet. You will find the train and cable car stations, super market, bus stop, restaurants, café, shops all within a 1-8 min walk along the villages charming main street.

This bright and sunny 20m² studio with private access is ideal for 1 to 2 adults (adults only) and is characterised by its central, yet very quiet location.

The small, cosy studio has a combined living room and bedroom, equipped with a large box-spring bed, Swisscom TV and free WiFi, a small, well-equipped kitchenette for self-catering and a bathroom with WC and shower. The tasteful and comfortable furnishings invite you to linger and relax.

Outside, a picturesque sunbathing lawn awaits you, which is directly accessible from the ground floor of the studio. Mürren is car-free. By car you drive through Lauterbrunnen to the Schilthornbahn car park.
The Schilthorn railway takes you to Mürren in about 10 minutes.

By public transport, travel via Interlaken Ost, Lauterbrunnen, Grütschalp, then take the panoramic railway to Mürren. From the BLM railway station, walk along the lower road to Cave Liv. Then walk up the first little road and you will find yourself in front of the studio.
