The Chalet RANA is the left part of a double chalets and is surrounded by beautiful mountain chain that runs around the RANA at 1,870 m above sea level in Fischbiel on the Lauchernalp in Lötschental. Fischbiel is a small complex comprising of 30 apartments and -häusern there. The RANA is the starting point for beautiful walks and excursions by car. The chalet is set in an elevated slightly above the road is very sunny and is therefore very much appreciated his reversal of families with children and dogs.
In summer, the RANA is easily accessible via the mountain road from Wiler by car and free parking is available.
In winter, this mountain road is closed for skiing and toboggan runs and getting to the RANA via the Lauchernalp cable car and a small tracked vehicle that combines the Lauchernalp station with Fischbiel. This vehicle runs every 20 min. From Fischbiel to Lauchernalp station and back. The Lauchernalp snow certainty and can until at least Easter each ski and snowboard be driven, as the highest point of the track on the Hockenhorn with 3'111 m asl is located. Very popular is the 25-minute toboggan from the Lauchernalp to Wiler down.

The RANA is a cozy and practically furnished chalet in which you feel comfortable immediately. In the basement of the entrance area with plenty of space for clothes and shoes, two bedrooms with 5 beds (1 Extra bed for a maximum of 1 child can also be added to the master bedroom), a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink and a room with washer and dryer , Upstairs is a large living-dining room with a spacious open kitchen. Here you will find: dishwasher, ceramic glass hob, oven, large fridge, freezer, Expresso- and filter coffee machine and fondue or Raclette utensils. The living room consists of a sofa, a dining corner seat, a flat screen TV, a DVD player, a stereo system and a cozy wood stove. For added convenience, the second Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. On the balcony with table and 4 chairs, you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Bietschhorn, Lötschenlücke, the long glacier, the Weritzalp as well as the larch forests. Here on the balcony the sun shines in the morning until about 14 clock. In the afternoon until the evening, enjoy the evening sun and views of the Hockenhorn, the Petersgrat and on the Lauchernalp. The patio is equipped with garden furniture and a kettle grill.

On foot you are in 15 minutes and by car in 5 minutes on the Lauchernalp, there you will find a grocery store with all the necessary stuff (meat can be ordered), a sports shop, kiosk, ATM, and 5 restaurants and bar.

- "We came in the summer looking to hike in the area and it was great. We were there only a few day but wish we had a longer stay. Many hiking/biking trails. Sabrina is a wonderful host and very helpful. It is not a large house but the 3 of us had plenty of room. The kitchen has everything you need and all the appliances worked and appear fairly new. Washer and dryer are very nice and the wifi is good. A 15 minute walk to the cable car gets you down to Wiler (if you don't want to drive, a winding road, but very do-able) where there is a small grocery store with delicious fresh fruits, especially the green grapes. I highly recommend it. A sturdy pair of walking shoes are suggested."

Chalet Rosa in Lötschental (Kippel) is an idyllic location for mountain hiking, skiing vacations and outdoor living. This luxury chalet has a nice veranda and a balcony with magnificent views. Inside you will find 2 bedrooms and a cozy dining area for a traditional Swiss cheese fondue. Located in the middle of a magical valley where you can hike and enjoy nature to your heart's content.

The chalet is located near the village center (Kippel) and has private parking. From our chalet you can walk to the cable car in Wiler in 10 minutes. Below is a Volg supermarket, open from 6 a.m. every day, with fresh bread from the hot bakery in Gampel.

Kippel is easily accessible by car, bus or train. The chalet is located on a street marked “Winterdienst,” and a bus stop is only 300 m away.

Our recently fully modernized chalet is cozy and cozy, suitable for 6 persons. It has a spacious south-facing balcony and a phenomenal panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. In the summer you can enjoy peace and quiet. With 255 km of marked trails, the magical valley is a paradise for hikers. Due to its diversity, the area is suitable for light but also for tough walks.

A warm welcome to Chalet de Compagnie, your luxurious retreat in the idyllic Lötschental, one of the most beautiful hiking and skiing areas in the Swiss Alps. This spacious, traditionally built chalet accommodates six adults and two children and is ideal for couples or small groups seeking peace and comfort.

The chalet sits at 1,500 meters on a sunny south-facing slope with an unobstructed view of the Bietschhorn (3,934 m), part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Jungfrau–Aletsch–Bietschhorn. As the highest-situated chalet in a small cluster of houses, you’ll enjoy maximum privacy and plenty of space all around, surrounded by nature. In summer, mountain lakes and alpine meadows are just a stroll away; in winter, you’ll be quickly on the snow-sure slopes of the Lauchernalp ski area.

Ground floor: Bright living and dining room with fireplace and open kitchen (50 m²), equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and Nespresso machine. The balcony offers panoramic views. There is a bathroom with shower and a washing machine.

In summer, you can park close to the chalet and easily travel for the day to visit Zermatt (Matterhorn), Saas-fee, the Aletsch glacier, Bern, etc.

In winter, the road turns into a magnificent 8km toboggan run and Lauchernalp becomes a car-free village. Access by cable car only (parking in Wiler). Luggage transport by resort staff on snowmobiles.

Experience moments of rest, retreat, or action at this home high above the Lötschental amidst beautiful nature, retreat, or action on ski pass and hikes. An electric piano is available for culture.
Our cottage is a simple and small but loving old lady high above the Lonza. Not everyone ventures up to her, but those who follow the narrow asphalt road of winter like summer to just under 2000 meters of altitude will be warmly welcomed by her.

The local tourist tax has to be paid extra per night/person. (4.80 from 16 years, 2.40 to 6 years. )
Please bring bed linen. Towels and everything else is provided.

The detached chalet is located in the old village center of Blatten in the Lötschental. The living room (basket) dates back to 1545 and is thus evidence of one of the oldest still habitable Valais houses. The tiny house was expanded by my father Erasmus in 1975 with the necessities (kitchen, bathroom, conversion of the goat stable in the basement to a sleeping chamber) for rent. In 2012, my wife Katrin and I gently restored the "Faxenhaus" with a lot of love for detail.

The space
The "basket" of the living room from 1545 is a testimony of the time.
The larch floor gives the living room an authentic character.
The wood-burning stove and the view of the burning fire guarantee romantic hours. The accessories are functional and range from a fondue set, raclette table grill, Italian coffee makers to room finches.

Guest access
The firewood provided is available free of charge.
We have seat cushions available for sitting and eating on the sun terrace.

There is a dining table with four seats on the sun balcony.
The chalet offers a maximum sleeping accommodation for 6 people:
- Bedroom on the first floor: 2 people (suitable for adults or children)
- Bedroom under the roof: 2 people (suitable for adults or children)
- Bedroom "Loji" under the roof with skylight: 2 children. The "Loji" is a sleeping paradise for children aged 2 to 12 years and offers an inviting cabin experience with its low height and roof slopes. For adults with limited comfort (low height).
