At the heart of the famous Bernese station (1050m) we offer for rent a small apartment with terrace.

In the historic center of Vieux Gstaad, in a pedestrian area, at the Chesery Platz we offer you a nice 1 ½ room apartment of 35m2 in one of the oldest chalet in the village (1730)

Climbing under the roof and entering the apartment you enter directly into the living room. It consists of two large leather chairs, a cable TV, and an old bistro table for the dining area.

On the side, there is a sleeping area (12m2) consisting of a double bed (180/190) a dresser and a shepherdess. It is separated from the living room by a curtain

A small wooden staircase goes up to the mezzanine on which there are 2 beds
(110/190 and 90/190) for children or adults.

The kitchen area includes a sink, 2 hotplates, a fridge and a microwave.

The bathroom consists of a shower, sink and toilet with faience alpine decorations.

A large sunny balcony decorates this studio. (8m2).

This apartment is just outside of Gstaad and you ideally need a car to get around. You can take a bus to and from Gstaad if necessary. The typical "Chalet des Rosiers" was built in the 70’s by 4 friends from Zurich who wanted a family-spot in the country. They found a plot of ground in “Grund bei Gstaad”, just a stroll from the Promenade in Gstaad, along the river Saane and with a beautiful view onto the fields and mountains which are as impressive in winter as in summer. Instead of dividing the place horizontally like an apartment, they decided to split vertically creating 4 small houses, a clever insight which adds to the charm and privacy of every individual unit. As such, every room in the house is connected by a small staircase.

Upon entering the house, you are immediately immersed in the Alpine atmosphere with old wooden paneling and lovely authentic furniture. From there you can go 6 steps up or down towards the 2 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Another 6 steps up you arrive in the open kitchen/dining room with the open fire and large, south facing, balcony offering a magnificent view onto farms, woods, fields, and mountains. In summer the fields are full of flowers, and you hear the cowbells clinging as where in winter you see people on foot, by horse or skiing by, through the magic white landscape. Eventually 6 more steps up you reach the cozy sitting area with fluffy chairs and sofas. There is free parking available for 2 cars.
The house is rented as a whole and comes with a professional concierge welcome who can also help you in booking transfers, restaurants, babysitting, ski passes etc.

Sometimes, when one is in a nostalgic mood, one goes back in time and dreams of small villages, away for the madding crowd, where people still say hello when crossing each other. Where there is beautiful nature around and the authentic architecture is respected. Where you still have the personalized luxury boutiques instead of the multistory & multinational chains. Where you find cozy restaurants and fancy hotels where food is freshly prepared and not the fast-food-places which are flooding our towns nowadays. Great space. Location is A1 for skiing as it is right next to the Eggli lift. In fact the rear if flat has a gate onto the Eggli car park. The kids ski school is an easy 5 minute walk. The crosscountry slopes are just in front of the house.... in summer there is the bicycle path just in front of the house, all the way along the river Sarne to Saanen and further, or up the mountain Eggli by Mountainbike.Wonderful and very convenient location of the house facing South. Walking distance to village and skischool. Located beautifully at the river Sarne. in front of the house: cross country ski, swimming and tenniscourts 7 minutes walking distance.

Wonderful chalet in traditional swiss style, antique wood with inlaid ceilings and doors that, together with the fireplaces, give the home its magical atmosphere. One of the few chalets walking distance from the heart of town but surrounded by pastures. It boasts a rare, beautiful and unobstructed view of the Wildhorn Glacier and can be reached on skis directly from the slopes at the end of a long day of skiing. Equipped with a spacious garage and vast outdoor parking spots.
The living quarters are finely furnished with large, plush sofas gathered around the large fireplace to create a vast but cozy atmosphere. The dining room also has a small Delft tiled fireplace and large hardwood table to seat many. The kitchen is also spacious and makes for a great area to enjoy a cozy family dinner or a nice cheese raclette grilled on the kitchen's redbrick charcoal grill. The kitchen is also framed in by the tiled floors and Delft tile walls behind the stoves.
The washrooms are all quaint and tidy, adorned in floral motifs or colorful cloth linings with French upholstery. The bedrooms are spread on the top and bottom floors of the house leaving the middle for day time living. Three rooms on the ground floor with two bathrooms together with the laundry room and garage. The remaining four double rooms are all on the top floor with three bathrooms and plenty of wardrobe space.
The chalet is, naturally, equipped with fiber optic wifi that reaches every corner of the house, phones in all rooms, cable TV, audio and DVD systems.

Welcome to your exclusive chalet in Lauenen near Gstaad – an idyllic retreat for up to 6 people. With 3 bedrooms, a cozy living room, dining room and 2 bathrooms, it offers perfect comfort for families or friends.

Special highlights: a loft bed and two bunk beds, a fully automatic pellet stove overlooking the fire and an additional usable fireplace. Relax on the spacious terrace, in the garden with a grill and fireplace, and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Wildhorn and Geltenhorn.

We kindly ask that you do not change the settings of the electric heaters, as they are already set to a pleasant and optimal temperature. The temperature of the pellet stove can be easily adjusted via the control panel. Due to the high ceiling, we recommend running the fans at the lowest setting to optimally distribute the air and ensure a comfortable room temperature.

The chalet is equipped with a boiler. For sufficient hot water, we recommend a limited shower time per person – quite normal in the Swiss Alps.

Guest access
You will have exclusive access to the entire chalet, including the spacious terrace and the beautiful garden with a grill and fireplace. The only exception is the private cubbyhole. Everything else is available for your full use, so you can fully enjoy your stay.

Other things to note
Since my family and I also use the chalet for personal use, we ask you to treat it with the same care and respect as you would your own accommodation. If you need additional firewood, please let me know in advance and we will provide it for a small fee.

Due to local regulations, you will be asked to pay a tourist tax of CHF 7.00 per person per night at the time of booking. This fee is required in Gstaad for all accommodations, and I have to forward it to the local tourist office.

This lovely chalet, in Gstaad along river Turbach, has the best of both worlds: surrounded by nature, yet conveniently situated a 7 min walk from the central 'Promenade'. Hiking paths to the mountains starting just by the chalet. It has been a family home for 75 years. Cosy in Winter and sunny in Summer.

The chalet is built in Saanen and Tyrol alpine styles, with antique stoves and a traditional 'Stube' room. An example of authentic character, equipped with modern amenities.

The space
The typical chalet entrance opens on a terrace with an outdoors lunch space and a beautiful fireplace wood storage. As you enter the chalet, past the coat hangers, you arrive in a warm "stubeli" dining-room decorated in elegant wood joinery from the best craftsmanship in the region.

With plenty of natural light from the surrounding garden, the main living room has plenty of comfortable spaces, a fireplace and a cinema TV perfect for cosy evenings with hot chocolate and good memories.

The fully-equipped kitchen has spacious surfaces, a large, plenty of amenities, a large fridge and elegant cutlery for hosting dinners. Access is possible also from the side patio entrance to have groceries brought in directly.

The lockers room is perfect for storing ski equipment when coming back from a day out with one of our recommended alpine guides.

First floor:
1 • The Coromandel Suite is the most spacious, with much sunlight to enjoy and a beautiful view. The double bed and lounge area are V&A archives fabrics. The carpet is Flatweave Stripes. The bathroom has a bath tub and dark hazelwood joinery.

2 • The Cirmolo bedroom embodies the epitome of Alpine Tyrol woodworks. The double-bed is alcoved into a wonderfully sculpted room, made of high-grade Italian cirmolo wood. After the walk-in closets, the en-suite bathroom has a shower made with a monolithic slab of Austrian 'white quartzite' stone.

3 • The cuter Olympia bedroom, with two single beds, opens on a garden view on the setting sun. There is a smart TV, the bathroom has a spacious shower and the glass door at the end of the clothes hanger offers independent access from the back of the chalet.

Top floor:
4 • The top-floor Loft is a vast space with a balcony facing South, a double bed in the open space room with a sleek waterfall stone shower.
In the comfy niche on the side of the loft, instructions are easy to turn on the projector and enjoy a cinema experience. There is a kitchenette for evening refreshments, good speakers for an elegant, yet cool evening boogie, and a secondary access through the external staircase.

Parking: the outdoor parking of the chalet is 20 meters from the front door and parks 2 normal cars or 1 SUV. Kindly enquire in advance for renting parking space in the private underground parking by the chalet.

• In accordance with the Bed'n'Breakfast spirit, you will find fresh breakfast provisions in the kitchen on arrival: fresh milk, bread from the bakery, fresh eggs and jam or honey. Do ask for any special enquiries or dietary restrictions...

• Several extra services can be arranged: trusted house-keeper throughout your stay, bed-sheet changing, a chef or catering, alpine guide for skiing or other snow-sports like heli-ski... Please be so kind to ask in advance, especially in high season.

Our family chalet is perfectly located, just a 5 minute walk to the Eggli and Wispile lifts and a 7 minute walk to heart of the village.

South West facing, it offers unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains and valley, perfect for sunny breakfasts and lunches on the two balconies.

The chalet is a top floor apartment with high wood-vaulted ceilings. High spec finishes and made-to-measure furnishings make for a very cosy and luxurious stay.
