At the chalet you stand on the skis and leave
Ski Chalet
Saanen

In winter, right in front of the house stands on the skis and goes back to the valley station, in the evening from the slopes back to the house.
If there is no snow next to the slopes, it is 300m walk to the slopes.
Over noon you take a break at home.

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis.
Detached chalet with views across the valley of Saanenmöser, with a garden, balcony and lots of sun.

In the evening you can enjoy the sunset on the balcony to the apero.

The space
On the upper floor.
In the entrance area is the wardrobe.
Kitchen has electric hotplates, fridge and is well equipped also the dining area and lounge are visually separated and integrated in this room.
A small bathroom with shower, two small bedrooms each 9m2, with two beds each.
On various windows it has mosquito nets so you can sleep in peace.
The whole is on 48m2.

Attic.
The third bedroom is the attic room. The ladder must be folded down so that the drop door can be opened or pulled by the rope behind the door of the first bedroom.
It can be heated with the electric heater. For gfrörlis, I can recommend bettocks and hats. You can't stand up in this room.

The washing machine with integrated dryer is on the ground floor.
The apartment on the ground floor can be rented via Airbnb. For 2 people

By car you have a 3-minute drive from Saanenmöser to the house.
The skis take you from the middle station directly to the house.

There is a sign on Hornbergstrasse: chains or four-wheel drive Obligatorium. The road is regularly plowed.
The last slope to the house is steep and accessible with chains or four-wheel drive. I always drive chains there because I only have front wheel drive.
The parking lot has space for two vehicles, is plowed with fresh snow, unless there is a car on it.

The oil oven is central to the common room and can be regulated to the desired temperature with the thermostat The bathroom is heated with warm air from the oven.
The bedrooms can be warmed at night with electric 300W oil radiators. Or leave the room door slightly open. For extreme gfrörli, I can recommend bettocks and hats.
When the stove turns on, you'll hear the fan and sounds like the metal of the oven tube and oven stretching. Then it gets homely warm in the house.
The bedrooms are separated by a bedspread and fitted wardrobes.

Guest access
The whole house is too common.
It may be that me or someone from the family lives in the lower apartment.

Other things to note
The 100 liter boiler in the house, heats up to 62 degrees.
This is enough for 4 people who don't shower for long.
You can't shower and warm up forever with it, otherwise the boiler will be cold.
In the meantime, it has to heat up again.
The temperature control takes some time to shower.

Free dryer – In unit • Free washer – In unit • Cleaning products • Essentials • Bed linens • Hair dryer • Hot water • Hangers • Mountain view • Valley view

There's a useful garage on the main street, approximately thirty meters below the Chalet. There is a sign with the name of the chalet on the garage door.

Please close the garage door during your stay and when you leave.

Take the winding pathway up to the Chalet. Once you enter, take one more flight of stairs. Open the door of the original entrance!

4. The ground floor laundry room's washer and dryer are not usable simultaneously. Kind of old electrical system!
