- "Settled right in the middle of town and only a minute from the train station, Hotel Landhaus exudes authenticity. It is unpretentious but offers a lovely restaurant with terrace seating suitable from early morning to late post concert hours. My room was spotlessly clean with lovely views of the town and Alpine valley landscape. The bedding is superior - I had the best night’s sleep after the evening’s recital in historic Church Saanen. The staff was responsive, friendly, helpful, welcoming and appreciative. The town of Saanen itself has a middle of summer intimate music festival atmosphere. Turns out the featured recitalist was also staying here. My foray to hear him exceeded expectations on all counts. The perfectly charming Hotel Landhaus played a big part in that. Not to mention the price was right."
