A modern chalet apartment with stunning views of the spectacular Lauterbrunnen Valley that are genuinely unsurpassed. The Staubach Falls are over to one side, visible from every room, and alpine meadows lie straight ahead, the views of which are unobstructed by any other buildings. There is nothing to spoil the view.

Located next to open pasture, on the outside edge of a small modern chalet development, wide french doors open out onto a large sunny terrace, great for outside dining and barbecuing, but even better for just sitting and gazing at one of the world’s most dramatic valleys. Unsurprisingly, the area is a UNESCO world heritage site.

Inside is perfect for a self catering holiday - a large open-plan lounge and dining area with cosy underfloor heating, oak furniture and comfy leather settees. The well equipped kitchen is finished with granite surfaces and includes ceramic hob and oven, filter coffee maker, dishwasher and microwave, as well as all other essential equipment.

A large master bedroom with king size bed and solid oak furniture, has ample room for a cot, if needed. The second bedroom provides flexibility for families, with full size bunk beds and a single bed.

The level access throughout the property is often appreciated by both older people and those with young children.

Other features include free and unlimited WiFi internet, international cable TV, DVD, washing machine and drier, ski room and private parking garage. The property is situated well away from the traffic on the main road, but still only two minutes from the Post Bus which runs regularly along the valley. A small local store is only a short distance across the river, but a full range of shops can be found in the village, ten minutes walk away.

As well as the trains to Interlaken, cable cars link to the international ski areas of Murren and Wengen, including the famous Eiger Northface cog railway to the Jungfraujoch. Further afield the excellent train and Post Bus service makes a car unnecessary.

In winter there is a regular free ski bus service two minutes away, which directly connects to the ski lift system. In addition a cross country ski trail skirts through the grounds of the chalet.

Tennis courts are 200m away and there is an outdoor swimming pool in the village. Numerous hiking trails provide for all ages and abilities, each with their own spectacular scenery. Similarly cycling opportunities range from adventurous mountain biking to more gentle electric bikes, all available to rent locally. The Trummelbach Falls are an easy 20 minute walk, one of 72 waterfalls which tumble into the Lauterbrunnen Valley, and the gallery behind the Staubach Falls is barely ten minutes away.

In summary, the location is truly glorious.

This luxurious and modern apartment was built in 2013 and is located in the beautiful valley of Lauterbrunnen (often called the most beautiful valley of Switzerland) situated in the middle of the Jungfrau region with stunning views of the mountains, waterfalls and lush meadows. Because the apartment is located on the ground floor, it is very easy to step outside to enjoy the spectacular surroundings right from the terrace.

Located on the outskirts of the picturesque Swiss village of Lauterbrunnen the apartment is very conveniently situated for exploring the surrounding area. Ideal for hiking in summer and skiing and snowboarding in the winter for example. It is also a perfect base for visiting Interlaken, Brienz and Spiez and to sail across the blue lakes "Brienzersee" and "Thunersee". Lauterbrunnen and all aminities are easy to reach by foot but taking the bus is also possible, the bus stop is next door. At the same bus stop, you can take a bus to go to the ski resorts.

This ground floor apartment has an open living / dining room with comfortable sofas, oak furniture and a pleasant floor heating throughout the apartment. Large patio doors open onto the private terrace that includes garden furniture, sun loungers, a parasol and a BBQ. The kitchen is equipped with a granite counter, top appliances and is very well equipped. The main bedroom has a nice large 2-person oak bed and the second bedroom has two 1-person oak beds. If needed, a babybed can be provided. The bathroom has a tub / shower and a large sink.
On the ground floor of the chalet is also a separate, heated room for storing skis, boots and sledges.

We loved the coolness of the property, the laundry facilities, both the nearness to the center of Lauterbrunnen and the fact that we were far enough away from the bustle. Here are a few heads-ups: 1. The building is numbered with a different number than the one listed on the address. Ask the host to give you the number before you come. We could not locate it for about 30 minutes until we called the apt manager who told us what it was. 2. Bus 141 is the one to take. You can pick it up directly across of the train station. The stop is Schutzenbach. It leaves at :05 and :35 on the hour (eg 8:05, 8:35). Most people just hop on and off the bus, though if you ask the driver he will charge you 3Chf/person. It goes into town at :17 and :47 on the hour at the stop across the street from the apartment. 3. You are near the campground across the Lutschine and they have a store there. 4. The overview of the apartment is in a drawer, which we didn't find until 2 days before we left (we were there for 7 inclusive days--which tells you that most things are self-explanatory. It was great. We would definitely, definitely stay there again, if we could."

Summer or winter this brand new Penthouse apartment is in a prime location with spectacular views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and famous Staubbach Falls.

The apartment is within walking distance of the Lauterbrunnen Village which is also facilitated by a frequent bus service. The bus stop is directly located outside the apartment. During the winter season this allows easy access to the whole of the Jungfrau Ski Region. (Wengen, Mürren and Grindelwald). All year round the Lauterbrunnen train station is the departure point for the most spectacular mountain railway in Europe.

Lauterbrunnen Village has some great restaurants, a village pub, bike, ski, hiking, souvenir shops and a supermarket.

We have enjoyed furnishing our brand new apartment to the highest quality, you will find it clean and spacious. The entire apartment has under floor heating and the apartment has two parking spots.

The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area has spectacular views from all windows and skylights and leads onto a large balcony.

This brand new spacious penthouse apartment is the perfect holiday getaway with magnificient views into Lauterbrunnen Valley and the Breithorn. The large bedroom has a king size bed to comfortably sleep two and comes with parquet flooring. Another two guests can be added on the pull out couch in the sitting room. The sitting/dining area is tiled and the apartment has underfloorheating. The balcony has georgeous views into Lauterbrunnen Valley as well as to the Breithorn. A special view is featured by the skylight looking direktly on the famous Staubbach fall. High ceilings and wooden beams give the apartment a spacious but comfortable swiss chalet style feel.
The sitting area with dining table comfortably seats 4 guests. In the living area, tv and dvd player are provided. The brand new kitchen is fully equipped. There are two mountainbikes free for use as well as high speed internet with wireless option. On ground floor there is a heated ski and boot storage and parking is provided.
