- "The stay was very comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast is very exquisite . The staff is very friendly and I joined some of the events organized like a jog in the morning. Give an opportunity to meet new people who have travelled to the Holzform all around the world. The scenery and the surrounding is amazing. The sauna was a disappointment- the steam room was just to big and the steam generator inside was insufficient . There are two saunas 50 and 90 degrees. The temperature controller system of 90 degree is just random . We went there 3 different times and the temp was always different. The water which you get to drink after stepping out from from the sauna is too warm . I would have thought it would be from cold and refreshing from some nearby spring . The resting area is underwhelming… We didn’t use the massage therapist so will not be able to comment . 10/10 for the luxury 4/10 for the wellness "

The restaurant is only open for breakfast, which is included, and dinner from 6 - 8. We were pleasantly surprised by the food in the restaurant. We went there the first night because of convenience and weren't expecting much. Our meals turned out to be really good so we dined there once more during our stay. The hotel is about a 40-minute walk from the downtown area, but there is a bus. It only come once an hour though. They are also very strict about check-in time. We arrived just a bit early and they didn't even want to talk to us. Told us to come back at 2. The hotel caters mostly to German-speaking clientele. That being said, English is spoken. In fact, many of the employees don't even speak German as they come from many different countries. At first we were given a room at the back of the hotel with only a view of a hill. No other choice because they were fully booked. They next day they kindly changed our room to one with a stunning view of the mountains. That was really nice of them. "
