- "The stay was very comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast is very exquisite . The staff is very friendly and I joined some of the events organized like a jog in the morning. Give an opportunity to meet new people who have travelled to the Holzform all around the world. The scenery and the surrounding is amazing. The sauna was a disappointment- the steam room was just to big and the steam generator inside was insufficient . There are two saunas 50 and 90 degrees. The temperature controller system of 90 degree is just random . We went there 3 different times and the temp was always different. The water which you get to drink after stepping out from from the sauna is too warm . I would have thought it would be from cold and refreshing from some nearby spring . The resting area is underwhelming… We didn’t use the massage therapist so will not be able to comment . 10/10 for the luxury 4/10 for the wellness "

The staff was friendly, the restaurant has great menu options and delicious meals, the breakfast was included and the room was very clean and the bathroom was modern and updated. The beds were also very comfortable and we slept well! The pool area was also very clean, and the in-door water temperature was comfortable and our kids very much enjoyed splashing in the pool. Unfortunately it rained our entire time here so I can’t speak to the views of the mountains from the hotel, but we did take a boat trip on Lake Königssee which was beautiful despite the rain. Highly recommend this hotel and the surrounding areas, and my family hopes to visit again in the summertime. "
