- "The hotel is in a perfect location in a wonderful resort. Breakfast offered something for every guest. We also ate an evening meal which was of a high quality. Only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. " - "I enjoyed this stay more than I was expecting to. I was on a solo road trip, and thought I'd stop by the beach, since it was so close. I wish I had stayed longer! The hotel was way better than I expected from the pictures (I got the updated room with the wood floors and an unexpected partial sea view). The shower-only bathroom is small if you're not used to European-sized bathrooms, but it was very clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room also had more amenities than I expected like a tablet and robes. The staff was very friendly and helped me use the super high-tech parking garage underneath the hotel (the kind where the cars move like a vending machine). The Fischmarkt restaurant downstairs was fantastic, and so was the hotel breakfast. The restaurant staff were also very friendly. The location is perfect...right on the promenade/beach and a short walk to the pier. The water temperature in early July is chilly if you're not used to cooler water, but I got in! I saw they had strandkorb available to rent and a sauna. If I ever go back to Binz, I would absolutely stay here again."

But there is two issues with this hotel, that you should be aware of, before booking this hotel. - it is a hotel, where almost all guests travel with children. It is mainly an issue during breakfast, but also during the day, in the areas between the buildings, where stones, sand and playthings are laying around where people walk. You can also hear, if the neigbour is playing / crying. I would not go again, if I was on a holiday with only adults. - The cleaning is not good enough. We had stains on the doors, where something had been running down the door. Bathroom could also deserve a deeper cleaning."

- "Surprising good hotel, considering the modest price and huge scale. It's not as charming as the old Victorian-style guesthouses in Binz, but it's right on the beach, and rooms are surprisingly spacious and everything is squeeky clean. We even had a small balcony, looking on to the forest. Dogs are allowed for an extra €10. Mini tea kitchen and plenty of space for clothes. Nice touches for a beach resort, such as a hoover (for all that sand) and a clothes dryer (for wet swimwear). Not bad at all. But don't expect personal service - this is a HUGE place. And it's on the outskirts of Binz, about 15 minutes walk from the centre/pier. No breakfast provided - but plenty of other places, along the beach promenade. "

- "Great spot. Close to a main area for food and the beach. Had some trouble finding the hotel check in. The suites are a bit farther away than the hotel. It’s on the street with all the food. - "It is a particular style of decor throughout the Landhaus (everything about knights, and middle ages - all fake etc) that isn't appealing to me. The room was on the ground floor, you couldn't open the curtain or the window because everyone could look into our room and it was somewhat stuffy. I would not have taken this room if I had an option. A very regulated place: rules over rules."
