While the hotel is located outside the city limits, there is a bus (#393 at Rhin et Danube) stop less than 100 metres from the hotel. It is a 5-10 minute ride to the Pointe du Lac Metro station and the #8 line can get you anywhere in the city. If staying more than a couple of days (I stayed 8) then you can get a Metro pass for 30 euros that gets you virtual unlimited transport in Paris - for a week! There are other options obtainable at the Pointe du Lac Info office and they are only too willing to help you out. The Metro travel to the other side of Paris does take time and this is the only aspect that you would not have if you had a hotel right in the center of the city. But this hotel is very quiet at night, the air is fresh, and I left with a sigh of regret. Many of the guests were French business men and women and they generally know the best places to stay."
