- "Mm" - "The hotel had the only food in the village. Luckily, the food was excellent!" - "This is a very old building so one should not expect everything to be as new. The bedroom we had was ok but the wardrobes were a bit tired. The lounge was ok but again the furniture has seen better days. THAT said the building was beautiful some of the doors were magnificent. Now I come to the best bit. The service was great. The dinner was typical of the region and consisted of a number of different dishes culminating in a great final dish of pork in an orange sauce for me and Hake for my partner. Breakfast was typical continental with hot fluffy scrambled egg along with plenty of coffee cheese ham etc. All in all the catering and service was very good. We enjoyed our stay and the mine hosts worked very hard to make us welcome"
