- "The property is very old and as such has lots of original quirks, such as uneven floors but this all adds to the charm of the building. The landlady and staff were very welcoming and friendly, approachable and bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable. It makes a good base to explore Dartmoor.The parkiing is fine overnight and is free between 6pm and 9am. You then have to move your car or pay for short term parking. Very reasonable room rates ."
