Region rich in history, tourist places (Gallo-Roman villa at Montcaret, Chateau de Montaigne, Village of Saint Emilion ...), vineyard landscapes, river, ideal for hiking.

- "Delightful, comfortable and peaceful location with excellent accommodation for up to 4 people Photographs are representative of the property as is the description of the facilities available. Three supermarkets within 15 mts drive. Lidle and E.Leclerc recommended, the latter having everything including household items and Lidle being the least expensive (similar to Aldi) with a Boulangerie and Pharmacie 5 mts drive. There are five other properties close by but at times you wouldn’t know anyone else was there it is so quiet. Within half an hour to an hour are Castillon-la-Bataille, St Foy la Grande, Bergerac, St Emillion and of course Bordeaux. There is a large market in St Foy every Saturday morning 7.30-12.00. Friday morning market at Castillon. It is a beautiful region to drive around. Would certainly return."
