First the location: if you arrive by bus from Brasov the bus stop is right at the end of the street, less than one minute from the hotel (and the same for the return trip). Once inside you are greeted by the lovely staff who are all so friendly and helpful. The entrance, lobby and restaurant areas are charming. We had a room on the second floor which was beautiful, with a sloping ceiling and a view across to the castle-amazing at night. The room was spacious with twin beds, comfy chairs, a full size fridge and a great bathroom. There was complimentary water and tea and coffee facilities, which are always welcome. We went to the restaurant in the evening and the food was delicious and well presented. The service was excellent. Breakfast is served at your table-a delicious assortment of traditional meats, cheeses and bread, fresh fruit and freshly prepared eggs (I had a cheese omelette). Situated very close to the Piatra Craiului national park, at only a 10 minutes walking distance, this is the house where my family has lived for generations. We’re always happy to welcome guests in our apartment and four private rooms, all sharing a fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful gazebo and the barbecue area in the upper garden. Our rooms are cozy and quiet, with a rustic design touch.

The space
Room no 3 is situated on the first floor, has a double bed and it shares a bathroom with only one other room. The shared bathroom is very close, on the hallway. The shared kitchen is on the ground floor and it is fully equipped. Dode and Jaques (his beautiful German shepherd friend) are the most friendly and welcoming hosts, they will attend to your every need.

All guests have access to the shared kitchen and outdoor recreational areas: barbecue, gazebo, hammock swing. The upper garden has a lovely view and easy access to the mountains and the forest.
