It was absolutely amazing having the view of the ocean from the room, verandah and the private pool. Breakfast option was adequate and even on arrival they were generous to provide us complimentary breakfast as we arrived a little earlier than check-in. The restaurant was also great - we had the seafood buffet along with live entertainment. The beach was beautiful but a little rocky and shallow to go snorkelling. You’ll need aqua shoes and go out far from shore to enjoy the snorkelling. Overall, had a great time at this hotel and highly recommend! "

- "Kuru Club was a great experience for my husband and I, there for 2 nights on a 6 week honeymoon trip around South Asia and the South Pacific. Rupe was amazingly helpful from check-in to answering transport and dining questions, late checkout request, airport transfer, etc. He was working very hard, too, as the hotel was full while we were there (after Christmas before New Years), and rooms were getting upgrades. He was very friendly and accommodating to us, including fixing a door that wouldn't lock and helping us get our travel clothes washed and dried. He also recommended a lagoon tour that was amazing, took us to a dinner reservation, and happily answered my husband's questions about coconut crabs. The room was comfortable and island simply designed. The eco-friendliness of the hotel was a major perk but also didn't disappoint in terms of water pressure, hot water, lights, tv, AC, etc. While not luxurious, it was safe and comfortable, with small perks like great on-demand (free) movies, and free local calls and a very informative compendium. The pool was great and the patio nearby was also nice. The location is great in terms of a quick 2 minute ride to the airport, a 15-20 minute walk to Ootu Beach and the closest restaurants around (very delicious food and friendly service). Would stay again. I would hope that the owners to consider building a front desk/reception area, as this seems to be needed and helpful to both guests and staff."
