- "This was a great place to be based in Legazpi with a lovely outdoor pool that was warm thanks to some very sunny days. Our room looked out on the main road but this was in no way a problem and was not noisey. All the staff were warm and friendly, especially Callie who was always on duty in reception. She’s a little dog who quite happily sits on the reception desk greeting visitors. If you feel you want a change from the hotel food (which was good) you can order in from Grab but there is a charge added if your order is before 10pm. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. "

- "Pet friendly" - "Everything else about Bernese was great, esp that they are pet-friendly. The restaurant good was great (some items excellent actually). Staff was very nice and accomodating. What I didn’t like about it was the fact that the faucet barely had water and the bathroom fixtures were quite poor. Also, and this is just a small matter that should not detract from our overall impression, there’s just too much plastic plants and flowers all around. Other than that, we recommend Bernese and will definitely be back!"

- "The staff were excellent, they will do above and beyond to please you, very courteous and respectful but the place needs a huge update. The bathroom drainage is poor and so it gets flooded right away. The furnitures in the room looks old and needs repair. I only need the room after a long day of touring the place and only for 2 days so we stayed. Our car also have a safe place to park."
