- "Front desk staff spoke no English, have a translator ready. Other staff that passed by during my check in apparently spoke no English either. Plus the fact they couldn’t locate my Expedia reservation check in took well over half an hour. In that period I got ticked because the area around the hotel was restricted residents parking and meter parking was a ways away from the hotel (and you need Czech coins for that). Nearest paid public parking is the train station a 15 minute walk away. I was escorted there by the police after I paid the ticket. Hotel parking was apparently full. Also the front desk staff demanded a voucher for my reservation which was nowhere to be found on my Expedia reservation. On the plus side the room was not bad (but no bathtub as shown in the room pictured). Breakfast was good with very good service. I like this place but I am hard pressed to stay there again because of the reception I received from the front desk staff and the location with limited parking. Recommend if you stay there contact the hotel ahead of your stay to inquire about hotel parking and the voucher they are giving for."

- "Everything is good apart from no1 can speak good English and nothing is written in English too which is a bit disappointing " - "This hotel claims that the staff speak English and Geeman. The lady who welcomed us in the reception spoke English and German, one lady in the restaurant spoke German - but the others we met seemed to panic by the language challenge. Our room was huge, had a comfortable bed (but strange pillows) and a big balcony (sad view apart from the beautiful sunset). Toilet and bathroom were seperated: the toilet was in the smallest room possible, without sink or hand sanitizer. The bathroom was big, nice and clean but had no cabinets or shelves for toiletry bags. The ventilation in both rooms were very noicy. Although clean, there was a strange, sharp smell in the whole room - as if a cat had stepped there. Around 6 pm we saw that the restaurant was almost full and realised that it closes already at 7:30! We quickly got ready for dinner, came back but were told to go outside if we had not made a reservation. (no, we had just arrived). So we went outside, grabbed a menu card and ordered our food. Nobody else were eating outside. The young girl seemed to have to ask her superior if this was OK. We received our food. At 6:45 a lady came over. She had reserved the table for 7 pm. We were halfway through the meal and could have left at 7 but she called the staff who told us at 6:50 that the table was reserved so we had to leave it. We were not offered another table. A sweet lady nearby invited us to sit with her and her husband. We experienced a mix of good & bad but are not coming back"
