The room was also very spacious with plenty of room to store clothing and multiple suitcases. The hotel was in close proximity to the bus which made going into the city center/returning a breeze! The breakfast bar was also hot, fresh, and delicious and reservations were very easy to make. The bar also served up delicious fare. Both had numerous delicious, vegetarian-friendly options. Opportunities for improvements: The room had some minor cosmetic flaws (slight water spotting on the wall/ceiling, a few carpet stains, a few small wall dings). The toilet pressure was a little low and we often needed to flush multiple times to clear the bowl of paper. It would also have been nice if the hotel had a water fountain where guest could fill their reusable water bottles. Still, since they were willing to fill them in the bar and the room provided cartoned water, this is a minor suggestion. Overall it was a lovely stay and none of the items noted above significantly detracted from it or made us reconsider if we'd stay again in the future."

Every single staff member I had contact with was excellent. I asked for a quiet room and I got a genuinely quiet room. Amazing value. The location of the hotel is a bit challenging if you don't have a car. It's about a 25 minute walk to Galway city centre, which isn't far, but it's not a pedestrian-friendly walk, as the route is really designed for vehicles. There is a footpath of course, and a bus. However, during my two-day stay there was a lot of frost and I didn't actually walk as I usually would. I got a taxi very easily both days. "

It is only a 3 minute walk from the train station or bus station, and equally close to the center of town. We did not have a car and it was a great choice for us. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was large. There are a ton of restaurants and pubs within a short walk, as well as the shopping district. Really no complaints, but the chair and ottoman in the room was rather worn and should be replaced. A minor fault. Definitely recommend!"

My husband and I stayed here for a couple nights while visiting Galway and we wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else. It's close enough that the drive isn't too far. Although we didn't get to try the restaurants within the hotel we did drink at the hotel bar which is fabulous. A must try if you're staying in the area! We will definitely be back!!"
