Our friends who had booked a suite were not able to check in until late afternoon since their room was not ready. They were then given a tiny room a few doors down from where they were told they would be. Not off to a good start.... Then, after we were told that it was okay to open a bottle of wine that our friends had brought from Bordeaux we enjoyed the warm afternoon sun on one of the numerous patios... Until the waitress told us that there was a €45 corkage fee! Dinner was lovely and expensive and three hours long."
