Excellent shower cubicle size and shower performance in bathroom - all worked well and immaculate (no grout issues!). Bedding excellent quality. Very quiet and effective air conditioning. Wardrobe with space long enough for dresses! Breakfast was amazing - huge array of options and very fresh - and for 19E worth every penny/cent. All overseen by a lovely lady who is welcoming and efficient - and notices everything that needs doing and keeps things on track. Reception and housekeeping staff were very professional and helpful and clearly keen for guests to have a great holiday. No restaurant on site but a bar and tapas option for evenings. However so many excellent options close by (would probably not be cost effective to run run). There's a great restaurant, wine bar right next door."

- "Room was fine and the balcony looked out over the harbour. It’s a working harbour so maybe not the most scenic view but it was fine. We liked the town and the hotel was mostly good, particularly the location, but the extras kind of detracted. Almost €12 each for a run of the mill breakfast was way too much and the cafe next door would have been better value. Also they wanted €10 for parking but we found free parking quite close. We enjoyed our stay and would go back but it wouldn’t take a lot of consideration and effort to improve the hotel experience."

- "Staff were pleasant. We were a bit disappointed in the size of the room. We thought that with the hotel catering to skiers with all their equipment that the rooms would have been bigger. - "We arrived on Ascencion day from the little yellow train to no bus or taxi from Villefranc to the hotel - locals gathered together at the station to take us to the hotel in a private car - refused to accept any payment. Next day we needed to do washing, again let down by taxi's to get to laundry (at the local supermarket and a local again gave us a lift but let down again by taxi's to return (not far enough). The dryer did not work so back to hotel with damp washing. Immediately hotel stepped in to dry our damp washing and then insisted upon taking us to Villafranc and a return at 5.00pm - would not accept any payments. All-round went beyond normal to hewlp and make our stay a delight."
