Unfortunately there was an issue where the AC cannot be turned off, but it didn’t impact the experience too much for us. The hotel has its own restaurant which we did not get to try. - "Staying at Le Cottage was a most memorable experience for my husband and I. We loved everything about the hotel, especially the divine Hammam space. Terrace had an electric shutter on it so when you shut it, the room had no morning light coming in, which was perfect for when we wanted to sleep in. External swimming pool is heated and warm enough to spend time in it. Spa is perfect for a few hours and was open 9am to 9pm. All staff were very friendly and accomodating. When we went to book treatments on the last morning they offered to extend our stay, at no cost, so that we could go back to the room after the treatments. Treatments were very enjoyable. Parking was ideal with security cameras, but in the end we did not park on site but left our car parked in front of the Gendarmerie which was a very short walk away. Lots of nice restaurants close by. The beach and port were a 4 minute drive away. There is free parking at the port and the parking at the beach is free, except during June and July I believe. Nice long beaches. We found all the staff in Argeles to be genuinely friendly. Nice coastal walk to Collioure or you can take the train or bus and thereby avoid the hassle of trying to find somewhere to park in Collioure. "

My only criticisms were that there is only one vegetarian option on the dinner menu which never changes, there are no other dining options around, so if you don't want to drive somewhere you are limited to the hotel restaurant which is very good, slightly expensive though. Also there are no rules regarding the pool, a lot more children there than I was expecting, my fault for assuming it wasn't a family hotel, which is fine but children should be supervised in the pool. I found children jumping into the pool over other guests head unacceptable and dangerous. Overall would highly recommend Les Bulles de Mer."

Across the road from the harbour and the beach, Staff were all amazing - very professional and very helpful. Rooms are well thought out - well laid out and function as you need. Plenty of good lighting, powerpoints and amenities (free water - chilled still or sparkling - from the special dispenser downstairs and Nespresso coffee machine and a kettle). Comfortable bed, good hairdryer with long lead and power points where you need them. sink with space around it to put your things on and a full length and over sink mirror. Excellent shower cubicle size and shower performance in bathroom - all worked well and immaculate (no grout issues!). Bedding excellent quality. Very quiet and effective air conditioning. Wardrobe with space long enough for dresses! Breakfast was amazing - huge array of options and very fresh - and for 19E worth every penny/cent. All overseen by a lovely lady who is welcoming and efficient - and notices everything that needs doing and keeps things on track. Reception and housekeeping staff were very professional and helpful and clearly keen for guests to have a great holiday. No restaurant on site but a bar and tapas option for evenings. However so many excellent options close by (would probably not be cost effective to run run). There's a great restaurant, wine bar right next door."
