- "The hotel had friendly and polite staff. Lots of amenities available e.g tennis court, crazy golf, table tennis and bikes available if wishing to cycle within the surrounding area. There was also a swimming pool with a patio to the rear of the building however this was never used, weather was only sunny and hot on the day of our arrival but the pool was dirty. If the pool had been clean I would have used it but seeing grit, sand and earth on the bottom of the pool was off putting. Flies were also an issue in the hotel, mainly in the restaurant with the waiting staff using fly swats! However, I must point out that during the final 24-36 hours of our 4 day stay, flies were minimal so not sure how they all seemed to disappear. A much more pleasurable experience thereafter. Food was fantastic and large portions served. Lift and stairs available to all floors. Air conditioning in rooms which were spotless with shuttered windows to keep out the sun and heat. "

Many guests in the room and a breakfast buffet we felt was a Covid risk. Our room was very clean, large, the beds comfortable and the bathroom modern. The staff were very friendly, helpful and the owner spoke German, having come from the Alsace. The small town is very interesting and attractive and the next morning we were able to purchase local vegetables and cheese at the small market. In the town strict Covid restrictions were in place, and a walk, before bed, revealed it to be deserted. "

- "Convenable .de passage." - "Hotel staff very pleasant. The problem is, they have a restaurant and customers were still loudly having a good night out at 1 o'clock. It was saturday though. The room was nice but the saloon doors on the ensuite didn't close, so no privacy. Ensuite was old and a bit grimy. Shower had bits of mould. There was complimentary shower gel and soap. They have a swimming pool in the garden behind which looked inviting. We only stopped one night and wouldn't go again."
