- "Good location. Friendly staff. Good food." - "Two couples, two rooms, one dog 😊 We checked in effortlessly, asked if we’d like to eat in the hotel or have breakfast. We declined both as we were visiting family nearby and ate with them. The rooms were extremely clean, yes very dated but with everything you would need, kettle, tea, coffee etc. A shower over a bath with plenty of hot water and a hairdryer was also provided. The only downside was when we came to check out the receptionist wanted to charge us more. We had prepaid but there system didn’t reflect this. After a while of showing them credit card statements and invoices she agreed that we had paid but still owed for a dog. As we only had one dog this was where the confusion came about. She thought we had one each. Anyway we did not let this mar our opinions of the hotel and will definitely stay again. "
