Parking at hotel seemed overpriced at €16 per day car park by ski slope did not appear to be charged though likely to be very busy during peak season. Very walkable area and lots of transfer options - car probably unnecessary though made it easier for us to transfer between this hotel and the igloos which we stayed at before here."

- "Amazing experience. We stayed one night here and one at another glass igloo place nearby to try two different places, but I wish we stayed both nights here. The place is great, the igloos are quite far apart and are private. The place feels like out in the wilderness, surrounded by trees and forest. The hotel reception area is also excellent, very cozy with very good food. The activities are also right there, excellent also to walk around. The glass igloos do not have as much glass window as some others at other places, but the glass window is more than plenty large, and the igloo provides excellent balance between view and privacy. If you see the aurora you anyway want to go outside for proper view. We were lucky we could see the aurora both outside and inside. If I go back, I will certainly stay here again."

- "The location is excellent in the middle of several fells. Good hiking trails and scenic walking trails (and cross-country skiing tracks in winter) start from the hotel. The restaurant of the hotel is one of the best in Lapland. The breakfast buffet is excellent, too. It also includes local specialties, e.g. spruce shoot fruitie, lingonberry vanilla smoothie and cloudberry jam. The log building is historical (built in 1948) but unfortunately the rooms need renovation. They are quite cozy but many small details are worn out. Sleep quality was excellent. I didn't hear any noise except the sound of water in the pipes. My bathroom was very small. This hotel is excellent if you are searching for a down-to-earth wilderness hotel but don't expect any luxury accommodation."

We locked ourselves out and were able to get a spare key from the hotel next door (200 meters). Why not check in here as well? The Terrible: The roads within the property are not marked and couldnt tell walkway from road in snow. My car got stuck in the walkway section and had absolutely 0 help from property. I called reception, they gave me a number for a third party tow company, the number did not work on my international phone. The hotel never called me back to see if I was alive or dead. I was stuck on their property, and had absolutely 0 help. I was able to get help and a tractor from the hotel down the road (Elfs Village). They were helpful and pulled me out. They need to open up a reception on site. This place was too expensive for 0 service. "

- "Marikki, the owner, is very welcoming and friendly, a real 'people person'. We were slightly concerned that we were a little way from the village to go out to eat in the evening but this was not a problem. The hotel meals were so good there was no need to go out - very tasty and with a traditional theme. The local taxis are also quick and efficient. This was a very comfortable place to stay where the hosts made every effort to ensure you have a good time. It is right next to a ski track so easy to access the ski trail network and a lovely sauna available at the end of the day. Marikki kindly arranged our ski hire and airport transfers too."
