- "The location is excellent in the middle of several fells. Good hiking trails and scenic walking trails (and cross-country skiing tracks in winter) start from the hotel. The restaurant of the hotel is one of the best in Lapland. The breakfast buffet is excellent, too. It also includes local specialties, e.g. spruce shoot fruitie, lingonberry vanilla smoothie and cloudberry jam. The log building is historical (built in 1948) but unfortunately the rooms need renovation. They are quite cozy but many small details are worn out. Sleep quality was excellent. I didn't hear any noise except the sound of water in the pipes. My bathroom was very small. This hotel is excellent if you are searching for a down-to-earth wilderness hotel but don't expect any luxury accommodation."

- "Staff was excellent and helpful. We were in a fix trying to get to the hotel but Milla came to the rescue and we eventually got out of the fix and was able to enjoy our stay in the hotel. The restaurant within the hotel serves splendid 3 course dinner that is a must try. Does not pale in comparison to Michelin star restaurants. They are too underrated.
