- "We stayed here 3 nights. First- if you are considering going to Alta- do it. This was our favorite location during our two week trip to Norway. The "downtown" area is one pedestrian street the equivalent of 4 blocks. The Canyon sits almost right in the center. There is an indoor shopping center almost across from the hotel which gave us some nice escape from the cold. Anything you may need is there- it was also just fun to walk around. The hotel is very nice with a wonderful restaurant on the first floor, that also served free breakfast. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. The staff was wonderful and helpful. If you are going to Alta and are looking for a great place to stay you will not be disappointed in the Canyon"

If I had one criticism, it would be the lack of info on the website explaining how it all works (i.e. you don't get to leave any of your things in the room because they run tours during the day). So was the food in the Lavvu restaurant although I hope they expand the menu to include more choices in the future. Breakfast was buffet and plentiful. - "Our Flatmone Natur stay was amazing. The little cabin was very cozy. Having our own hot tub after full days of backcountry skiing and other artic activities was great. Levi and his father were both so welcoming and happy to assist with any needs we had. We had a rental car which made getting to and from town very easy (about 10 to 15 min drive). Very close to Holmen Husky and Glod explorer, which bith had many outdoor activities to partake in. We did the sleigh ride and dinner one night and had a wonderful time with the owner.
