- "The gem of a place is beautiful in blue and white reminding me of a Swiss chalet in some ways. Staff is very helpful. The assistant manager helped me with a limo to Pattaya which will take me straight to our hotel there. Had one dinner here and food was great. Breakfasts are amazing. Lots of good food and options to order off the menu for eggs and other things. Enjoyed a swim in the pool one day. We extended our stay here for four nights. Walkable to restaurants and shops and the pharmacy. Recommend this place and enjoyed our time here!"

- "If you want to get away from Bangkok this is the closest, there are not many tourists, lots of landmarks to see and the prperty is run by great hosts. I will return" - "Very welcoming and kind hosts. Arrived 1.5 hrs before check-in at 2 pm however it was no issue. They helped setting me up with a tuktuk that could drive me around the island. The small bungalow was cozy, clean, and had what I needed for a weekend trip. " - "The room are actually individual bungalows set in a jungle forest type setting. - "Basic hotel, rooms have great views but most things seemingly done on the cheqp and falling apart (our back gate fell off its hinges and plunge pool drained on its own) Lots of stray dogs (harmless) and good for fishing off the rocks. - "Amazing views and location. Uncomfortable bed- service not great" - "Overall we enjoyed our time here, there is supposedly a restaurant on site, but not really sure where or how to order. English is spoken very little and the day person who checked us in, well let's just say it was a challenge. The other issue I had was our room while titled "sea view" did not have a sea view from inside, just the balcony. For something reason they built a wall with no windows facing the sea. This is a rustic real experience, if you want luxury, don't even come to this island. Once we got over those two issues, we had a fabulous time on the island. Rent the motorbike the second you get off the boat, don't think twice about it. You will need it to really enjoy. The islanders were amazingly friendly, twice just driving us some place instead of giving us directions. We were even invited to a pig roast we came across on the bike. We saw a monitor lizard at Buddha's foot prints and got the picture of a life time at the yellow Buddha. A few decent restaurants too, probably more if we had stayed longer. We sipped beer on the balcony in the evenings enjoying the ocean. Our neighbors bbq'd, but they were from Bangkok and came equipped. We stayed two nights, and truthfully could have done 4, but then we like to take it easy. If you was fast and exciting, you might also want to stay away."

Nice and clean and quiet. The hotel is on a route serving all attractions, it's a small island so a motor bike or tuk tuk is essential. The hotel arranged bike hire. The owner and family very accommodating and friendly. "

- "No bad should be a little cheaper for the quality" - "Good" - "Good service and reasonable price. Probably not the best location." - "Basic hotel, but overpriced even for basic. We weren't in the high rise building. Weird bathroom setup; huge room for sink but no place to hang anything, needs hooks or shelves, then small toilet/shower space. Water sprayer by toilet leaked from hose in a few places so they had it turned it off instead of fixing. When water valve turned on, water sprayed all over in different directions. We found a 2 inch scorpion in the corner of shower at 2 am & had to kill it since it wouldn't wash down the drain. First time in 10 years coming to Thailand ever seen a scorpion! Don't know how to add a picture, nothing happens when I click on add picture, but we have a picture of it. One of the window slats was missing a chunk of glass & no screen. AC worked very well, cold but it blows directly on the bed. 2 waters per day, towels, coffee. No restaurant. Great staff. Picked us up from the pier on arrival, very nice. Location is in the middle of nowhere but we always rent a motorbike so didn't matter. Looked like it was an old school or something before. We tried to negotiate more days cheaper with the owner but he only took off basically pennies. We ended up staying at another place for 11 more nights. We paid more money but had a pool, much nicer room & better location. Great island for us."

We had our bathing suits draped on the porch to dry & they had set up a drying rack for us without us asking which was so nice! The property is so clean & manicured. The room is clean. The only thing missing are hooks to hang the towels, maybe also more shelves.
