Reception staff are good, hotel guests are mainly Japanese, asian. Breakfast starts at 5, perfect if you have an early round of golf, and there was a good selection. One downside was part of dining area in grounds seemed to be reserved for Chinese exclusively. Breakfast was good but menu very Asian as appears hotel is very popular with Chinese visitors so understandable as few westerners seen during stay. Maid was exceptional at cleaning room and helping with laundry and waste or any minor issues. Only concerns were had some lizards in room and tiny ants if food not put on fridge and got bitten twice waiting in receprion area by mosquitoes. Pool great and reasonably close to local shopping centres and markets to buy anything. If you travel with a motorcycle you will find the nicest roads between the farmlands to travel on and see the most beautiful parts of nature. - "The staff was very eager to please. Not everyone there spoke English but they seemed to have someone on every shift that could deal with us in English. The location is quite close to the port and the cab ride to get to our ship was remarkably inexpensive. The location is also near some "street food" that seemed to be very Thai. We avoided it all, except for a donut that was insanely cheap and utterly delicious. We did find a HotPot restaurant a few blocks away that was very accomodating and didn't mind doing a bit of mime with us to make sure we knew what we were doing. The food was quite good."
