The hotel owners and staff went out of their way to make us welcome and to meet our needs. Buffet breakfast had a large and delicious selection of food to suit all taste and needs . On the mornings that we were away early the hotel provided a breakfast sandwich for us to take with us. The evening meal had a nice selection on the menu, was to a high standard and very good value for money. We ate here in the evenings and would highly recommend it. The hotel evening ends at around 8 pm which suited us fine as we were away early in the mornings,so if you are looking for night entertainment I guess you would have to travel into Skarnes. This may be different in the summer. The rooms were clean, warm with comfortable beds and a nice en suite bathroom with under floor heating. Overall this an exceptionally friendly and welcoming hotel which we felt was excellent value for money "
